The benefits and limits of being clever. The last girl I was trying to get closer to, separated from me by saying something along the lines of: "You're so smart I feel I need to be completely focused to keep up." I am somewhat smart, that's why I think she meant boring. I did keep her laughing, but there was no action, no escalation from my part. It was all conversational. Fun. But not engaging physically. Also, I read that you do not choose women, you present them with the chance to choose you. She passed. Maybe my pitch wasn't all th… | /r/seduction | 13/11/13 02:54 PM

I need help dealing with "Dancing Monkey" syndrome and stop seeking approvalThe thing is that the only person expecting you to put on a show, is you. You need to understand that. Your mind is playing tricks on you, making you feel that unless you carry the show on your shoulders you will have no worth. You are not a clown. If the other person is remotely interested in you, that person will appreciate your humor, but is not going to demand buffooneries from it's personal jester. That's all in your mind. Don't listen to it. Just be normal, enjoy the moment you are sharing… | /r/seduction | 08/09/13 06:18 AM
Models by Mark Manson summarized by each chapter. It's a really good book. I read it all in one sitting. But it has a lot of filler. You know the tropes of the genre: "I have a friend name Steve, once he met a supermodel..." Yeah, we know its BS. I understand it's just an example to illustrate a point, but it gets tedious. It also does a lot of recaps, which isn't bad, but you feel it has to do them because it meanders so much. A more agile, summarized text wouldn't need so much recapitulation because you wouldn't be bogged down as easily by fi… | /r/seduction | 02/08/13 02:43 PM
Models by Mark Manson is blowing my fucking mindI saw this post early yesterday, so I went and got the book and finished it last night. I was looking for a life changer, I think this might have been it. It avoids all of the moral and structural pitfalls I have with most what is passed as advice in this sub and treats women with respect while asserting the integrity of your honesty. I very much was looking for such an approach. Thanks for the recommendation OP. | /r/seduction | 31/07/13 03:10 PM

I spoke with a girl on a bus. They were worthy of their own religion. I would worship them forever. My brain just freezes in social situations, worst with women I like. If I don't like them or they are unavailable, I'm able to have a great time with them, but as soon as I try to get her to like me, I become a caveman. | /r/seduction | 22/10/11 07:04 PM
I spoke with a girl on a bus.No, not really, not even her name. But I would recognize her, we spoke for a while, she was a very nice person. I guess it's ok to let her go, I tend to cling on, a lingerer, so it's good for me to know how to live the moment and let go. Also I feel now more comfortable talking with other women, knowing that I won't die just for trying. | /r/seduction | 22/10/11 06:52 PM
Hey guys! I did something I never thought I'd do after joining this subreddit.Really? I thought gay guys went like "Hey, handsome." And then it was pretty much smooth sailing after that. Forgive my ignorance. | /r/seduction | 08/09/11 05:22 PM
