I help lead communities and I make it a point to not give a fuck about the average westerner or the western world as I carve out a space and domain for my people. Have given up on the mainstream of these societies. And having spent time with liberals, the amount of psychologically broken spinster women in their late thirties and early forties was just overwhelming. Hey all this shit is anecdotal though.

Some media prioritizes truth and idealism more than others, some media are at the other extreme end of it. There are gradients. The christian science monitor for example (sounds weird, but they aren't some crazy cult paper, just good journalism) seems to report very informative columns without much of an agenda beyond informing and fulfilling the ideal role of the fourth estate. Just as capable.. statistically is it the same? Culturally is it the same? There are subcultures that are much much more "toxic" but feminism has no qualms with it, because mainstream feminism is a vehicle for upper middle class and wealthy white women to accrue more power and privilege. I don't. Single digits is well within reason. My own perception has been shaped by a few of the posters on here and some loud feminists I have in my friend's circle.
