I've had this problem for a while and I THINK I have a solution, just bare with me. About 4 months ago, I was at my prime, tallying a fair amount of numbers and gained a lot of confidence but it was only when I was drunk so I convinced myself I couldn't when I was sober, making me all nervous and anxious when sober. 4 months later, I'm no longer in my prime, but I'm doing a lot better as a sober game player because I'm not drinking at all. (Mostly because I'm skint so I can't get drunk as much) …

Say thanks and that you got it from your dad. It's a very Irish and lighthearted statement. You could try to return the compliment or insult the locality of her accent?

A good 50% of my best friends are girls, I'd say it's more than fine to have female friends. They're only people.

Your only embarrassing moment was the "oh, really? Okay, well have a nice day", it's a very beta and submissive. Being the alpha of a conversation is about coming out on top of all situations, regardless of the awkwardness. Play it off, jokingly, as destiny or dedication.

Pros of a gig: -It's very upbeat, good atmosphere will get you into a good frame of mind! -She'll get to see how you interact with other people. -The gig ends and you have to make plans when you leave. Cons of a gig: -It's not very personal, have you ever tried to talk to one person at a gig? -Drinks are expensive -The gig ends and you have to make plans when you leave.

I find that "could" is a good example of effective phrasing, replacing "should". It's giving the option without asking or giving the idea that you need it to happen. EDIT: Spelling

I don't think "I don't want to be too forward," is a good move at all. Sounds almost like an apology.

Adapt. Your friend might be better looking but just remember, he doesn't know shit: He didn't spend the last few months on reddit and on the field, looking at techniques and testing them out; He didn't go out of his way to change his image and confidence levels to seem more appealing to the female community; He doesn't have us. If you know about kinesthetics, anchoring (my personal favorite), self appreciation and social dynamics interaction techniques then what's stopping you using them to the …

I've got to the stage where I see the drunk version of myself as a completely different person: he's a complete idiot, talks to everyone and scores a few times, I'm a smart guy with a social anxiety and has to go out of his way to say hi! Any close is a close, drunk or sober, but I enjoy trying to day game, sober, more so though.. more of a challenge and leaves me feeling stronger, achievement wise.

Ask her. Worse case scenario, she says no, you both spend a few weeks awkward and then move on, she's still your friend and you can get another "major crush" on some other girl. Best case scenario, she says yes. Rinse, lather, repeat.

I'm completely the opposite, when I'm drunk, I play as if it were a second language. One night, after being single for two years, I got drunk out of my mind and came home with 3 new numbers. When I'm completely sober, I over think things that the drunken me wont even think about once. I'm trying to improve on my sober game though.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
