Nobody is attracted to desperate. Also, if you don’t like yourself, how is anyone else meant to?

She will be a very different person in 5 years time. You risk her developing new interests and preferences that match yours. I remember lots of high school sweethearts who get divorced because they end up being too different over time.

She probably walked away because she thought it was the start of a sales pitch or something. Good start

Just say hello. Start talking about your studies. See if you have anything in common, and go have a coffee.

Avoid older women with kids mate. Just not worth it 9 times out of 10.

Low 20s is all about preparing for life in your high 20s. Educate yourself as much as possible. Take risks and chances with girls, business ideas, job applications all sorts, because by 25 shit is serious and youre running out of time. If you can set yourself up well you will stand out in your late 20s and attract the right sort of people.

South east asian women are more cunning than similar-ages western women - they are often after marriage to secure immigration pathways or wealthy western men for obvious reasons. There are plenty of desperate men keen for the obvious tradeoff. But, judging by this post and your comments you are not attracting women for a reason: you are unattractive, possibly physically, but definitely at a personality level. Try not being such a dumb kid about such a grown up topic. Meaningful relationships sta…

Hey i'd like to see you in the break. Im going to [insert some event] on [insert date], want to come along? She may say no because she doesnt like you. She may say no because she panics and has no idea what to say. Dont be pushy. If she does say no, just follow it up with a "how about lunch sometime? i know a nice place [nearbyish that would require driving to], i can swing by and pick you up, no problem". Nice and chill. Just friends, not dating. No pressure.

Re-read my comment - Step One - get counselling/therapy. Identify holes in your self esteem and why they exist. Everyone on the planet has holes in their self esteem, do not pretend you dont. Step Two - Work on the causes of those problems. Talk and explore the problems, and come to terms with the causes, whether they are your actions or someone else. Step Three - learn to forgive the cause of these problems. I know this might be an abstract concept, but a good therapist will help you. Letting g…

You are worried about not being able to make friends when you cant even befriend yourself. If you dont like you, why should anyone else? That is step one to self improvement: Learn to love yourself. Some people can do this easily. Some people it takes years. It took years for me to learn to love myself. Life after that point improved significantly. How do you love yourself? You self reflect, either with professional help or otherwise, on why you hate yourself. Your post is full of critical self …

Think back to the first time you had sex. It was horrible. I would call a liar anyone who says they enjoyed it. Not only do you not know what you like, but you dont know what your partner likes. AND EVEN WORSE you dont know that you know nothing. As time goes by we get better, much better. But can you imagine having a lovely day, getting married and spending time with family, and ruining the nice day with painful, unorganised, underwhelming sex? I pity anyone who decides to wait.

If you date girls that are disloyal you are going to end up with some idiot who cheats on you. Whats even the point? Its like hunting for trash to eat when there are plenty of wholesome meals out there.

Stop being skinny, average looking, and clear up the acne. Good start! But the best, more subtle answer: improve your self esteem. If that is how you define yourself you'll never get anyone. If you dont like yourself how is anyone else meant to?

I think youre probably fine. Random boners are actually a sign of biological immaturity in my completely unprofessional medical opinion. Things you get in your early teens, and it dies down later once you start moving out of puberty.

Focus on improving yourself first. If you don't love yourself how is anyone else meant to? Build up that confidence.
/r/seduction04/04/17 04:34 AM

Confidence is king. Nothing else matters. Confidence comes from self esteem. You need to like yourself. In order to like yourself you need to know yourself completely. If you are depressed or have unresolved childhood issues get professional help to work through these memories. When you know yourself completely you can learn to love yourself, and the rest will follow. Aside from money, confidence makes the world go round.

There are many people who come to this philosophy with hatred in their hearts. Damaged people looking for ways out of the mistakes theyve made, who can blame them for getting stuck in the anger stage of it all. Im not suggesting the platform itself encourages hatred of women, but it IS used as one by many. Incorrectly.

Using tinder is the most pathetic thing a person can do. Do you really want to spend time with the trash on there? Do you want to be trash yourself? Its insane that people still use it.

Yes. After waking up i cut all the toxic women out of my life. Now im with the girl of my dreams, the perfect match for me. She doesnt take any shit and neither do i, we get along well! The RedPill shouldnt be a platform (as much as it is) for raw hatred of women. The point should be to remove anyone from your life that is a waste of time, and focus on the few decent ones. Not hard.

I kind of disagree. The ultimate form of redpill is ignoring the useless time wasters so you can focus on the very few girls that are actually worth your time. You would be insane to say that 100% of women are terrible. Its just not true. There are real, wholesome, loyal partners out there, its just about cutting through the crap to get to them. If someone is just after pussy then they get to put up with the kind of trash that give it out easily. The real pursuit should not be domination of the …

Nice work champ. Most guys dont have the balls to make an attempt like that. Even if she says no, and nothing develops, you cant imagine the psychological growth youve achieved by simply doing this. Dont stress too much over the details. Maybe the girl just doesnt like you - thats life! Your friend is right, if the girl liked you from afar as well, you could have asked her out to a lamp shop and she probably would have said yes. Nice work

Okay a few notes: Confidence comes from self esteem. If you dont like yourself, either through stress or actual depression, then you will lose the self esteem necessary to be outgoing and confident. Your withdrawal from your circle of friends is a defence mechanism. It flows from the last point. Youre struggling with your own company at the moment, let alone others. So what is the solution? Take the time to focus on yourself. Engineering study is naturally stressful and busy, so you need to budg…

Holy shit mate youre fucked in the head. Sorry for whatever happened to you but painting all females with the same brush will result in you getting nothing out of life. Women deceive? Men deceive too. Humans do it. But not all women, and not all men. You think all women are sat there waiting for you to come along and fuck your day up? You are going to have a shit life if you stay sitting in the anger phase like this.

Life is before 20 is all about preparing for life in your 20s. I doubt there is anyone who wouldnt go back to their late teens and try harder to get further to make things easier later on.

You dont have to be a tough guy all the time. Think of the icons of masculinity in the modern world. Plenty of them are down to earth family guys, with emotions. They get respect for being in touch with their emotions and being a real human being. The jacked up Tapout-Shirt-wearing alpha tryhards who pretend like nothing is ever wrong are an embarrassment to masculinity. Since you have a girlfriend, you can cut the high-end macho crap and keep things secure by including her in your life.

Just go with the flow friend. Remember the thing most forget: being in a relationship is not about being boyfriend/girlfriend, or acting the way you think that role should be played, its about FRIENDSHIP. Be friends with her. If she wants to kiss you great, if you want to kiss her great, but focus on building friendship and have a good time together. Pretend she is your best friend and go have fun. Be yourself and everything will be fine.

Tinder is a horrible invention. Im in a committed relationship so i havent used it directly, but ive got some mates, very rich and handsome mates, who use it and struggle with results. I think the kind of people who use tinder, male and female, arent worth the time. Sure, you might be looking for an easy fuck, but you are never ever going to find girlfriend material girls on there. Ever.

There are things you could have done to build off your excellent introduction but honestly i cant fault you. Most guys wouldnt have the balls to do what you did, so nice work mate. You had a positive result and should gain some confidence for having done it.

Dont over do it. Tell her you had fun and would like to do it again. Dont rush things. Have events to invite her to, that sort of thing. Comments like "id really like to see you again, im going to [event] later on, want to come along?" are positive and constructive.

I want you to google "cognitive dissonance" and read everything you can. You have an idea of the person you want to be which is vastly different to what you are. This causes distress and anxiety, and the situation youre in. By focusing on the real you, and doing the things the real you enjoys, you will eventually surround yourself with similar people with similar interests. Things will progress organically from there. You'll be fine.

Sounds like youre trying to be the centre of attention when that doesnt suit your personality. Stop trying to be someone youre not and focus on self improvement. When you become happy with the way you are, and start liking yourself, others will to.

I think you will have a much easier time than a single woman with a child. The stereotype of men not being interested in children, while women like kids, is pretty accurate. I think you'll be fine honestly. Most women would probably be more concerned as to WHY you are single with the child. Did your partner leave you, is she a mad insane ex who will still be involved, etc.

Seems unpredictable. Unpredictable things should be cut out of your life. Too much drama and stress comes from these things. I would lean towards cutting ties and moving on.

If you focus so much on the external world, try focusing on yourself. Take up the mantle of self improvement and throw yourself into the literally endless topics of power, control, self improvement, ethics and philosophy. Become obsesses with self reflection too. Not only is it fascinating to study your own thoughts and actions, but it will allow you room to improve yourself and grow.
