Doing a cold approach reminds me of taking a cold shower or jumping into a cold pool. I'm reluctant at first, I feel awkward, strange, reluctant as I start going in, but then I get invigorated after a few seconds, and then eventually get used to the conversation and the cold water. At first I think "I can't do this, why am I doing this, I'll ask when they walk toward me" etc. I can tell you that all you need to do is to act. Take the first step regardless of how awkward or scared you might feel.…

Sounds pretty in depth, but I can't make it because of classes. Will you be repeating these lessons over the summer or possibly next year?

Instead of names, use nicknames. Say you met this girl last night who wore a lot of leather. It will be easier to remember her as "leather girl" and she'll probably like the nickname you give her unless it makes her feel bad.

Ah. I see, intimidation can be very powerful. C+f helps with being non reactive.

Yeah very true considering your internal state impacts your external state greatly. I've gotta work on maintaining a good internal state, since I usually try not to care, but not caring often leads to a constant neutral state. Sorry I took so long to reply.

Yeah keeping a static inner state seems to be the general rule. Self validation is a skill that takes time for one to learn, but you've brought up a good point how with a good internal state, amogs and other obstacles can be crushed. Sorry it took so long to reply btw.

Works anywhere: "Hey I'm bored lets talk." If she's sitting down, sit down with her and say: Im tired I'm goina sit here." if it gets too akward , pull your phone out. Ask them a situational/relevant question; if you are at the pool, ask: "hey do I look sunburn?" Or if you are at a boring party, ask "This party's so boring don't you think?" Just say an observation you made about her or your surroundings. It took me a while to realize opening is just this easy. Good luck!

It's important to highlight your successes, and consider your negative responses as learning experiences rather than shrugging them off or over reacting. Glad it helped! I'm still a beginner, but this convinced me to go to the pool, and open girls without any previous context (ie. out of the blue), rather than try to find excuses to talk to them.

Can't stress it enough. Don't go for somebody who is lower value than you unless you believe you can change them. But be careful it's a waste of time.

You'll have to beat your low self esteem first. Read up on approach anxiety (AA), inner game, friend zoning, and then openers. Especially the first two since it seems your problem is your anxiety. Practice opening random girls you see outside of school. At first, its easier to talk to girls younger than you. Not too young, but I ALWAYS feel confident when flirting/talking with younger girls. Once you gain the confidence to talk to a girl you like, just talk to her like you would your friend's li…

Well said. Oneitis is when you have developed almost an obsession to love a woman and make her love you since she does not love you back. Example, she dumped you and you cannot accept it

Fabiosonfire: http://www.reddit.com/user/fabioisonfire I chose him mostly because of his advice on improving highschool game. Definitely because of his post as well: http://www.reddit.com/r/highseddit/comments/hgv61/my_high_school_success_story/
