1 can be handled with NDA/NCA (non-disclosure, non-compete agreements). Number 2 is a whole discipline, similar to seduction, that will take time, training, etc to be good at. At least in my experience. Why can't you take those designs/ideas and make them successful without involving a large corp?

I have no doubt. The vacation house is my primary residence, but I mostly only vacation there since I travel so much and it's a remote mountain location. If it wasn't for that place, I would live primarily out of hotels. In 2012 I've spent 200 nights on the road and the rest in Colorado, I suspect 2013 will be worse now that I have less ties to CO.

If you don't smoke a lot of green then it's going to effect your social situations. If you know how to maintain then it's not an issue. I noticed this when I first started smoking too. Social Engineering. Time spent with your nose in a book should be about 1/8 of that which you would dedicate to a scientific or computer engineering subject. The rest of that time needs to be spent in the field. Look at a programming book. A large portion of the book is set aside for exercises for you to try out what you've learned. In this discipline the exercises are on your shoulders, you have to actually go out and interact. It's a lot simpler than you think though, promise!

At the restaurant it's hard to escalate any kind of kino. Don't push it, I look at it as a time for good conversation and good food. If you plan a date with dinner, plan for plenty of opportunity to escalate kino outside of the restaurant, either before or after (ie: walk by lake then dinner then dancing or movie). If you haven't already, start reading up on the links in the sidebar. A lot of this may be attitude. You say that you come off as an asshole, say something stupid or are too nice. Who says it's stupid, frames you as an asshole, etc? You do most likely. Good research! I'd like to also echo your statements in the last point. The average guy has a HUGE pool of extremely nice, smart and FUN women to be with. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm with Cheddar on this. Women are subtle creatures but they still give signals. For example, when you touch her and she says something about a draft, or being cold.
