That's weird because I've only ever seen it used to criticise those who don't push back against those who say its not okay to cry, etc.

But you can replace everything youve said with femininity. Its not a male issue, its an everyone issue. Women face these pressures far more than men with the whole beauty industry with its makeup, waxing, painful shoes, etc just to look hot. Toxic masculinity would be useful if it gave people and society shit for bullying men who cry or wear pink or whathaveyou. Instead its used to belittle those who conform to societal pressures. Its a fair concept that is bastardised into man hating.

Toxic masculinity as a term is used to belittle men who are bullied into conforming to bullshit masculinity stereotypes by society. If it wasnt an attack on men then it would be calling out society, not men trying to conform to it.

Its hard not to see the whole concept as an attack on men.

Men carry the family name and worth, women are expected to change their names to their husbands upon marriage. The US is up to 45 presidents now and yet to have a female POTUS, even in Europe the concept of female el…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
