In fact, i dont even think you can skip it. After belonging comes esteem, and if you've isolated yourself socially there's a big chance your self-esteem is going to plummet. Low self-esteem could then leas to craving validation from others, then you're back to fulfilling level 3 anyway... Something to consider :)

Level 3 actually relates to the need of social belonging, rather than sexual and/or intimate relationships. It relates to many different relationships: family, friendships, as well as intimate relationships. So, no, don't skip this level. Thats a quick route to lonliness and relationships. As for intimate relationships, should you skip them...? No, probably not. Problem shared, problem halved and all that.

I agree with your final definition, its basically the latin(?) meaning of the world. Your explanation, not so much; that sounds more like what happens after the seduction has taken place. So do you fall in with the first or second definition in your approach to this? If so, why?

What do you actually want to say to her? If you're genuinely interested in the answer, then it's going to be easier to have a conversation. Be upfront about it. If you've got nothing to say, or you're nervous, then say it! If you say it, you're out of your head at that point - that's half the battle. Sure, you might not get a date out of it, but if you've said "sorry, I'm pretty bad at making small talk, but I wanted to meet you/say hi/tell you x" 10, 20, 50 times, and the response isn't terribl…

Mirroring is pretty instinctual though... Yawning, for example. But even if she was using game, what's the big deal? Were you using it? If you're both using the same tricks, and you both know you're using the same tricks, you've got a conspiracy on your hands! If it happens again, you should call her out (non-verbally) that you know what she's doing, and see what happens.

There's two things that really stand out here: I feel like I will never improve with girls Mindset is so important when it comes to social interaction. If you're thinking you'll never improve, that's going to come across in your body language and sub-communication. Why don't you think you'll improve? my friends jokingly makes fun of me tells me that I am a stalker chasing girls Depending on how much this type of banter is affecting you, you might need to let this person know it's not helpful, or…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
