What's your angle here? Trying to be the new whinemoreplease? You're way off the mark if so. I don't pop on here much but OP's post is a solid FR on his progress. He needs a little tightening up but his is the best example of growth I've seen on here in a while.

I've been on silent for over year minus a handful of time frames that I wanted to be able to hear when the phone went off.

I tell her no, because my time is valuable. That's his biggest mistake in the whole post. He was running late, she knew he was running late. He failed right there by not valuing his own time. His actions said "Waiting on and serving you is more important to me than spending time on things that are important to me. My time is yours." OP, value your time.

If you are really that torn go with option 3. Tell mom and MIL that you'd like them to be there but given their relationship you would consider it a distraction that you don't need and you do not want to choose one over the other as you appreciate both of their support. If they want to smooth out their relationship, in the future they can both be there.

You did read past that line right? Where I pointed out it's not sex drive, it's the woman's overall drive in life. And your right, her panties would be off. But we're not trying to just get laid, we're trying to have a spouse that provides value, remains faithful, and fucks us. Notice that the fuck me/you card wasn't played until after the drop in sex. Then he fell off the wagon. The problem I ran into, and one that might be similar to OP's, is that my wife straight up lost all drive and motivat…

I think it happens with low drive women. I don't mean sex drive, I mean overall drive in life. They realize that suddenly they will have to put work in to keep their husband and so are so use to not doing so they don't believe they can and shut down a bit. In my experience, it's also a failure to lead on the husband's part. You get so focused on improving yourself you neglect to lead your wife to improve herself. My wife and I went through something similar and once I started leading, sometimes …

Vision/goals are what guides your planning. Think about lunch. You decide what you eat, but it's (hopefully) within a set of limits that help you achieve what you want. If you're trying to lose weight, you aren't grabbing dessert (or at least not often). That goal/vision of being more fit, guides your planning and execution. You can have long term goals/vision or short term. You have clearly defined detailed ones or simpler goals/vision such as: I do not want to keep sitting around playing video…

Me tired and me not ready 4 work. What the fuck? You're married to a child and you've encouraged her to continue to be one. In addition to the usual first steps, you need to work on treating your wife like the child she is being. Case in point: breakfast. She doesn't want what you have there? Tough shit. She's an adult. If she wants something different she can go get it herself. My kids refuse to eat what I make for breakfast sometimes and I don't budge. They either eat then or it eat later. You…

Around the house with the kids or out playing, I wear the $7.50 Walmart printed, cotton-polyester blend, graphic tee. They breathe, they last, their easy to maintain, hold their shape, the kids love seeing their favorite super heroes, and the wife loves the soft feel on the muscles.

Heavy Kroc rows, farmers walks, dumbbell lunges, dumbbell step-ups, weighted pull-ups. I'm curious why you think it's a grip thing rather than a biomechanic/leverage thing.

Her reaction shows that I'm not as far as I thought I was. Your inability to be self-aware, acknowledge you were injured, and keep it framed correctly shows much more than her reaction. Stop worrying any her and her reactions and worry more about yourself and how you can improve.
/r/MarriedRedPill18/02/16 02:27 PM

In my experience, volume gets me more injuries than weight. I'm a big advocate of bigger weight and lower reps on the main lifts for this very reason. People end up setting a goal and going for it no matter what. With a heavy weight you may use bad form for a rep or two. With high rep sets people end up doing more bad form reps, exposing them to increased risk of injury, and setting bad movement patterns.
/r/askMRP18/02/16 02:19 PM

No, not on your rest days. But I would add some of those on your lifting days. Struggle getting out of the bottom of the squat with good form, throw some box squats in at the end of your squatting. Deep, lighter weight, wide stance pause squats help with this also but can be rough to do. They increase glute activation which helps with overall stability in the squat. Step-ups can help with knee issues and can bring a lagging leg up to par with the other. Form on your over head press is getting ro…

If you are not doing any accessory work to compliment your main lifts you can not expect to progress past a certain point. Just doing the main lifts in nearly any program will give you great results as a beginner. Eventually you have to add accessory work to increase your numbers. I would consider some wide stance squats and deadlifts. Going off your comment below about difficulty coming out of the bottom I would definitely add in some box squats as well. Lunges and step-ups are great for squat …

/r/askMRP18/02/16 12:57 AM

Everyone's biomechanics are different. My squat is sitting about 40 pounds higher than my deadlift (420, 380). I've worked hard to get those numbers and struggled to get my deadlift over my squat but can't. I started looking into it and being on the shorter end of average (5'8"), with a torso not much longer than my femur, arms proportionate, I'll probably never out deadlift my squat.

I work hard and make a lot of money and that should get me sex I generally found that the guys that say this either don't make as much as they think or could or are beta at work. That being said, a high income is generally an Alpha trait that a woman hopes to secure and convert into a beta provision. Much like a strong, well muscled man can be turned from Alpha to beta. I get that we don't have the woman here to chew out but this story looks like one may put just a teensy-weensy bit of fault on her. On hair care, I am big proponent of the "no poo" method. It's get a bad rap from some people but has worked exceedingly well for me for over a year and a half. I use a 50/50 mix of water and baking soda followed by a 50/50 mix of water and organic, raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar. It's done wonders for my hair and dandruff.

Noticing muscle growth, IOI's from women, etc are validating results that happen passively with no seeking on your part. You are encouraging him to actively seek validation when he doesn't have too. Why does need any validation? Why all this effort on eliciting a specific reaction from her? It comes across very dependent on her actions and I believe keeps him in her frame. Validation of AWALT comes with time. Dread as well. Eventually the hamster rears it's head. Trying to force these things is not productive and not adding value to OP, it is only adding drama. No. For my honor as a man. And also her perception of me. Your honor is your own, no one else's. Nothing anyone says or does can take away from your honor. Your honor is based on your actions. Completely agree. As long as you dress well in terms of what you like and do you, your fine. Keep in mind that who you are is who you attract. Clothing plays a role in that. Fine by me. I don't like skinny jeans, wouldn't fit into them, and I don't want a woman who likes guys in skinny jeans anyway. Point being, be realistic about who your style is going to attract and if you want to attract a different crowd determine if the necessary changes are in line with what you want.

I'm sensing sarcasm so I'll rephrase my question: Why frame your decision/discussion on accessory work around the way women think and interact? Why does your partner not caring about legs or women touching your arms and chest play any role in the workouts you do?

Leadership needs to be constant. Yes, direct advice and discussion on how to improve some aspect comes through dialogue, but the demonstration, guiding, and leading is constant. You can't just say "this is how you get better" and expect it to work regardless. She will only want to get better if you do and your actions will always speak louder than your words. Waiting to lead until she asks for help is lame. Leadership arriving upon request is not being a leader.

YNAB is great. I use that for budgeting and Personal Capital solely for net worth tracking.

Sign your wife up for CreditKarma and keep the login. You'll get alerted if she opens a card behind your back. I also recommend Personal Capital. You'll need all the login info for cards, loans, accounts, etc. Store these in a password protected file. She won't be able to spend behind your back and you'll be able to show her your net worth and track it. You're getting the info you need and showing her the value of it. And remember, discipline leads to freedom.

If she is bored at home, she will find ways to entertain herself. Dead on. But your conclusion on it being caused by time away is wrong. A bored wife at home is a First Mate that hasn't been led properly. Time away doesn't matter. Plenty a man has left his wife for months at a time and not had her be unfaithful. She was a good First Mate and ran the ship well in his absence because he led her there. On the flip side, plenty a man has left his wife for months at a time and had his heart ripped ou…

The problem is me not getting what I need I'm tired of being alone Boo fucking hoo. Why do you need anything from your wife? Everything you've posted screams lack of leadership to me. Wife won't get up off her ass and stop watching TV? Same boat I was in. Your wife needs to know you don't need her and that you don't mind being alone. But you keep indicating you do need her and don't want to be alone. So what's her incentive to change? After you blow your marriage up and find a woman to give you …

YNAB is a great tool. Make sure to follow the advice from the site and continue reading on it. I've had great success using this for budgeting. I've been down this road. This is near where I found my family because I was not being the Captain I needed to be. I was not leading. This needs be a do or die. She is onboard and helping or you drop her. Give her some time to come around, but once you start leading on this, if she doesn't come around, fuck her. Honestly, your financial life and that of …

Sex is like candy to women. Think about it like this: your kids are behaving, you give them candy (or whatever), they misbehave, the candy jar closes until they earn it again. Your wife acted like a crazy bitch indicating to your children that the family was going to split up. Candy jar should close. But it didn't because of your drive. My opinion on it is that you are the prize. Your dick is her candy. She has to earn that. You seem to be saying she just has to look good and fuck well and she h…

My point on the withholding attention and not initiating is that you rewarded your wife with sexual attention. Your actions said that she was sexy regardless of the way she acted. It's validating her behavior. Maybe I come at it differently because I would be really turned off at my wife if she did that to my children. If you're curbing your sexual desire to discipline your wife, you're doing it wrong. That's only a good response to a wife who is not putting effort into sex or looks. I disagree …

Sexual desire is not alpha, it's natural. It is behavior that is alpha or beta. Even betas desire sex. Withholding attention is not butthurt. You should always be alpha, even when down. You're not the only one that has ever had a crick in their neck or had to recover from an operation or got laid up for bit. It's not teaching her to behave it's leading. That kind of behavior is devastating to a child. The emotional consequences can be high. I know, I've been that child. You needed to gain comple…

I go up to her and pull her into me or grab her ass a few times Why did you do that? She was a shitty wife and even shittier mother and you rewarded that? She was acting like a teenager throwing a fit. You said you lost it and told her to leave the kids out of it, why? Keep your cool but be stern with her. It's not just keeping the kids out of something, it's her needing to stop behaving that way entirely and thinking about how what she says is effecting them.

So much for First Officer, huh? Dude give it up. People on this forum have wasted to much time and energy on you. This is the third time you've come on here like this and you aren't listening. Half the guys here would trade you wives. You have a few choices: Keep playing Captain and I honestly believe your wife leaves and finds a better man. Quit playing Captain and let her lead. Quit playing Captain and actually be one.

What are you currently doing for recovery? Your 200 calorie difference between training and non-training days is low. A lot of recovery comes down to nutrition. You might not be getting enough calories on training days, especially post workout calories. If your concerned about fat gain, cut the non-training day calories. A post workout protein shake within 30 minutes is clutch for recovery. Good brands include plenty of BCAAs but you can always get those separately as well. I drink about a gallo…

If you're really along the way and progressed to the point where you feel like you've turned shit around then the wife better know you're not stupid or putting up with shenanigans. That's part of being a good leader. Constant snooping to me is like a distrusting micro-manager. If your first mate is that untrustworthy, why are you still married to her? So trust earned by her should be trust enjoyed, else you devalue what marriage means to the both of you. If you are years into a good marriage and…

She does a lot around the house, especially in last few months. I've had more dinners ready for me, dishes done, laundry up to date, than in years. I didn't ask for it or demand it. It just started happening when I started to lead. Because I'm leading, she's got somewhere to go. She senses the vacuum and knows she's invited along, and that I'm going and not staying put. Your hamster is in hyper-drive. You come off as needy and emotional. Basically like a little bitch. Grab your balls and be a man. Stop asking what you should do in regards to her and start evaluating what you are doing for you. And have been exercising and am in good shape. Exercising or lifting? Lifting or really lifting? You need to quiet your mind, I recommend overloading your muscles.

I'll agree to disagree but let me address a few things: I never said your method would not work. This: When you stop your wife mid suck and tell her you have better things to do, then go do it, it's like you're trying to prove a point, and it's a point she already knows and doesn't give a shit about. She knows you want a better blowjob, she just doesn't care enough to do much about it. Is flat incorrect. It's worked amazingly well the two times I've had to do it. It sounds like your approach is …

A man can have 6 pack abs, plan an awesome family camping trip and organize his kids into getting straight A's, but if he doesn't understand the emotional aspects of seduction, he'll always only get duty sex from his woman. It might be a higher quality duty sex than the drunk captain, but it's still just enough sex to keep him just happy enough. Lackluster sexual performance is a waste of time. Do not accept it. Let her know you will not accept it and that you have better things to do with your time and then do them. No need to act a certain way. Know that you control how you spend your time and if you want to spend your time with shitty sex, by all means go ahead. Why do you want to go with the mindfuck? Why play games? I've been direct and honest with my wife during this type of scenario. My approach has been to let her know that if that is all the enthusiasm she can muster I've got better things to do with my time. This has only happened twice. I am, and you should be unphased. Maximizing your income in your career field is an alpha trait. Managing your money well is an alpha trait. Those are direct contributing factors to your SMV. Everyone here saying to get your form checked is right. It should always be the second step. The first step is stopping your set and possibly your workout depending on the pain when dealing with your back. I'm going to go against some advice here, but while you are working on form, stick to higher weight and lower reps. Don't go all bro on yourself and put to much weight on. The reasoning behind the higher weight low rep instead of the low weight high rep is that people have a tendency to finish…

I agree. I'm fairly thick and my wife would complain of jaw pain and I would let it go as she wasn't the first. Currently if she says something about jaw pain it's after we are done. She blows me about 95% of the time before sex and the quality of the blowjobs has increased immensely. It's the area of our sex life she has put the most work into.

STFU applies until you know what to say and how to say it. You said what you had to say, direct, to the point, and clearly. You then held you're ground by not running after her and comforting her. That is the right time STFU and you did. You exposed the truth, it's up to her to deal with it. You did well. Keep working on you and more will come.

First a Captain captains at all times, for small things and big things. A Captains time is valuable and he teaches his first mate what things to bring to his attention and what things he truly does not care about. This is done by leading and talking.
