The problem might be in the women, yes, but in the specific type of women you're choosing and selecting. What would it mean to radically change the demographic of women you're going for - not age or looks, but perhaps the location where you meet them?

Having one set of standards, not finding success with those standards, then consciously lowering one or more of those standards to entertain a relationship with a previously unacceptable option. Yeah, when I was 19, I dated de Caprio. Now I'm 21, and for the rest of my life I'll be settling 🤷‍♂️

17% of working American men aged 15+ made six figures or more in 2021. What percentage of those are single, and of her height or taller?

interesting to see how so many young men feel disempowered these days. I wonder why they feel that way? Yeah, it's an absolute mystery...why could this possibly be happening?!

Social crucifixion is for bad people. Not healthy people. Once people have tasted power, they rarely give it up...so yes, I agree with you in the ideal world. But in the real world, that doesn't happen.

if he goes back on said commitment because he was a liar, crucify him in the social fabric. Men are fragile and lack strength in socializing. We run this field. Destroy him socially. Actually, crucify him if you guys ever break-up...because, why not. If you have the power to destroy the person who dared to break-up with you, you should totally use it.

Well, my aunt has two kids from artificial insemination...She bought her beautiful home on her own, and her kids go to a wonderful high educational private school. "Huh, no bread? Let them eat cake." Sure, lucky to be her. Her sister married a man. A man-child. Was this forced marriage? Why did she choose to marry him? Why does she choose to stay married? Edit: Wait...your aunt's sister is not your mother? Your dad is the "man-child"? Not a native speaker of English, but I'm confused.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 08:15 PM

most women would choose the guy her own age even if he isn’t super successful yet. So, lol, go disagree with the OP. OP said women shouldn't choose men with potential; they should choose men who are already successful.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 08:14 PM

Younger women just don’t tend to find older men that attractive. So of the three options I've mentioned, if they don't like two, they have to choose the third. Not sure what you're trying to say. You seem really off-topic...maybe you should create your own post and debate there?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 06:56 PM

63% of men between 18 and 29 were single, compared to 34% of women? I interpret that as women overwhelmingly dating up in age. Or all of those women are dating a few highly successful men.

Okay, sure
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 05:41 PM

I would bet that less than 25% would choose the older man. Probably. But 25% is substantial...as compared to maybe 2.5% of men who are looking for the older woman who makes more money.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 05:14 PM
22

This advice is good for young women trying to date young men Yup, that was my first thought on reading the OP. A 25 year old looking for a LTR has three options: Date a 25 year old guy with potential Date a 35 year old guy who has made it Date a 25 year old guy who has made it Since option 3 seems least likely to exist, her choices are between 1 and 2. However, many young women seem to choose option 2 (and in fact, to share the same guy who has "made it"), than to choose option 1. Hence why more…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/24 03:39 PM
3

just because you can sleep around that means you can get LTRs doesn't apply in todays age Makes it easier...than if you are someone who can't get casual ONS
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 07:10 PM
9

I haven't known any that can get casual sex, but not a relationship. This is important...if you're skilled enough at getting casual sex, then you're able to get a relationship as well. If you can't easily get casual sex, then getting into a relationship is going to be tougher as well. None of these factors have anything to do with how long that relationship lasts, or how satisfying it will be to both partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 04:04 PM
4

"That didn't last long! Obviously she must be stupid." I have acquaintances who are in their early 30s, and dress like teenagers, and party like they just got out of prison...their choices in men are lol, underwhelming. Doesn't take Einsten to see that (1) it ain't gonna last, (2) she's gonna pick the same type of guy again, and (3) she ain't that smart
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/24 02:52 AM
11

It would solve no issues for women Someone else can dig out the research, but I believe cases where the woman makes the first move, the relationships tend to last longer (assuming they are reasonably intelligent women). This has been true in my experience too -- good-looking, smart women were able to find the right guy, made the move, and settle down with him easily. Meanwhile, good-looking, not-too-smart women are complaining that no good men are available. Lol yeah, not for you.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/24 02:37 PM

Probability? Seems like men are not really good at what they are doing There is a less than 1% chance of anything happening...that's probability. I'm not gonna let a 0.7% probability of something going wrong force me to stay locked inside my house when I want to be running outside.

In a heavily lopsided seller’s market, why should the seller lower the price? Because "where are all the good men" lol. If that rant exists, then it means women aren't as happy as you might think they are.

your really fucking awful personalities Yup, that's me. Real charming of you, u/thelajestic Back to the topic. So the OP is about how women have it easier than men in OLD...let me know if you have anything else you want to talk about on that topic, as it relates to my comments.

So his male experience on tinder was objectively easier and more pleasant than my female one. Sure, the experience of the top 10% of men in any domain > experience of most women > experience of the remaining 90% of men. That was never my goal on tinder tbh. I just wanted to hook up with non crazy people. I did achieve that Great...you met your goal. Most guys don't achieve that in OLD. That is the point of the OP - that things are objectively easier for women on OLD, than they are for men.

However, well over 50% were overtly sexual right off the bat without attempting a conversation. Amazing. You can easily filter and delete them out of your life. They are making it easy for you. On dating apps, is your goal to evaluate men as a whole? Or whine about how difficult life is for women? Because that seems to be what you're doing here. For most guys on PPD, it is to find one good partner and leave the apps. If that is your goal too, then from everything you have said, you should be abl…

claiming “nobody cares” just isn’t true. Sure, most people care if you're within an Amish/Mormon, or other secluded community. In other places, most people don't care because, in the US, you don't have those tight-knit communities anymore.

wanting to take me on a date Lol, men will take an actual potato out on a date and try to hook-up with them. What matters is the quality of the men who are willing to commit and settle down with you...and since you're young, you're not gonna find that out for a while.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/24 04:00 AM

There are still social consequences for cheating. Family and friends care even if they don’t disown the cheater, and the kids definitely care and will resent the cheating parent who caused the divorce, not sure how you’d think they wouldn’t. Matters a lot more in traditional societies. However, in current western societies where communities aren't connected together as much (which is why people meet online), there are fewer social repercussions.

There's no such thing as high value men. Yes, women struggle to choose between Obama/Trump/Bush and Brad Pitt/Tom Cruise....and basement-dwelling dweeb me. All of us men are all the same. Must be so difficult for women to choose from among all of us.

Well sure Duh. The point is that women will reject men for the weirdest of reasons...whether it is IRL, or on apps. So don't make it about there being so many more men on apps, because the same happened even before apps existed.

Why aren't they together? Women have such sky-high expectations that even female dating coaches and match-makers struggle to work with them. There was that 20-minute diatribe posted by this matchmaker who straight up changed her line of business after many years of this work saying that there was no way for any guy to meet the expectations of her clients.

I think because men as a whole do not know how to relationship well.. and it's a broad ass statement. And of course obligatory "NOT ALL MEN". But a lot of men do not make good partners. All this explains why divorce rates are higher among gay men, and lowest among gay women.

to insinuate that a woman is hopeless and old at 29 is disingenuous Eh, he doesn't say that. However, I do believe that as a mature adult, you have limited time to 'test' a few people for LTRs. Between the ages of 20 and 30, for LTRs, maybe you can test-drive 5-7 people at max. Then if you want to be married, have 2 kids, and space them out, you are looking at a tight timeline.

but the whole point is so a woman can breastfeed in peace and can be a SAHM or have the option to be one. This is BS. /r/PurplePillDebate08/12/23 05:37 PM

I don't know why you basement-dwelling Redditors think you win arguments by insulting others....you just make yourself look slow. Just one question matters here: How often did you masturbate as a teenager? How often do you do so as an adult? Then compare your answers with what men give you.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/23 05:31 PM
1

Your experience seems remarkably different from mine. The women (28-40 range) I know are miserable & bitter about being single, even though openly they proclaim the opposite. The men I know (28-40 range) are quietly stoic about this; most of them having walked away from the dating scene, and have begun to find quiet pleasures elsewhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/23 05:28 PM

People are stupid. Instead of studies, an easier way is to ask these women how often they masturbated as teenagers. Women get shocked to hear it's 1-2 times a day for us guys as teenagers 😂😂😂

/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/23 04:02 AM

I saw a recent study. Something like 80% of women want men to approach. But something like 50% of gen z men think it is always wrong to approach a woman, and another 30% think it's actually creepy. Only 20% of men think it's appropriate to approach women, even though 80% of women want men to approach them. Modern Wisdom, eh?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/23 03:30 AM

Attraction actually can bloom, and it can take time for someone to notice another person in that way. Chemistry is something that can develop with repeated exposure. Spoken like someone who actually socializes with people, lol.

As much as you can say you want the quiet nerdy bookish girl, it’s mainly the beautiful extrovert that goes out partying As an introvert, I rule out every extroverted woman from the beginning itself. In early dating stages with someone who said she spent her entire weekend doing chores, and then reading alone at home, lol. That's my kind of girl.

This does not happen to me. I agree with u/Amiskon2 here but let's see....How often each day do you make eye contact with a guy you might be interested in? How often do you smile, and perhaps say hello? I'm never going to approach a woman whose head is in her phone, and has earbuds on. So if you're never getting approached, either you're not attractive enough (in that case, you should use apps), or you're too anxious to initiate even polite contact with strangers.

my mom always had options even when they were together, men were always hitting on her. and that's still true now that she's divorced (but is voluntarily celibate) At what age did she have the most options? "The wall", as explained by Rollo (the dude who coined the term) is that everyone - men and women - reach a point in their life where they realize that they are not getting the sexual attention from people that they used to get. The reason this is called the wall, and is used to poke at women, is because in the dating-sexual arena, women hit the wall in their late 20s/early 30s, whereas for men, it is more phased-spread out, and at a later age. Men never have a peak in sexual value attractivenes…

The real issue is that the traditional concept of marriage & family is no longer attractive to young women as before. In the past, marriage was a requirement. Today it is optional. If women can live independently like men, they are no longer desperate to depend on them for survival. Doesn't this mean that modern women must be happier than ever before? Because their lives are better than they have ever been for women in the past? Because they have so many more options?

True red pillers understand you can’t ever expect to fulfil blue pill desires…ever. No true love, no loyal life parter, none of that. They accept that a woman sees a man as a utility, provider protector and sometimes in rare cases as a decent supplier of genetics. They understand you cannot expect love. This is really difficult to navigate when you’re still getting to know a woman and aren’t sure what her preferences are. And for the same woman, preferences that vary based on the day...on some days, she might be feeling excited and eager, and on other days, anxious and hesitant. App swiping is not the same thing as real life attention. Agreed, but yet, 1/10s have inflated egos and expectations in a way that was not true 20 years ago when I first started dating. Apps are the only explanation.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 04:38 PM
3

Surveys also show that relationships where the woman is definitely more attractive only have a 24% satisfaction rate. Goddamn son, you work for Fox news? Because your data cherry-picking can land you a job with them. Fewer women who say they are more attractive (24 percent) or less attractive (34 percent) than their partners report feeling completely satisfied. That's the actual quote but you picked only one half of it. u/threeman_2 perhaps its best not to debate this bro
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 04:31 PM
3

Most average women do not have 200 to 300 men pursuing them on a daily basis. The average woman often does not get hit on on a daily basis. Apps. u/threeman_2 is probably referring to apps. And he is right. You could be a 1/10 in attractiveness, or a 10/10 in attractiveness, but the number of men you'll have chasing you will be the same...more than you can count. This is why when women have their self-esteem crash, online dating is the easiest quick fix. That doesn't work for men.

they are competing against women’s freedom to stay single and support herself. So women must be happier today than they have ever been in their lives. Today, women who are married got to choose from so many suitors, so they must be really proud of the dude they were able to pick. At the same time, women who are single must be really happy too because they can take care of themselves and be single and happy on their own. These women had 1,000s of picks online, and they chose the 1001st option of …

Ask her about it a year later and she’ll tell you all the obvious signs, which she previously simply ignored or made excuses for, because she didn’t want to see them. I do tend to disagree that women can’t tell if a man is actually interested in her or just wants sex. Lol, not really. Most women I've met just 100% assure that "all men are like that" instead of being able to assess different men clearly. If they were such skilled mind readers, they wouldn't get strung around by fuckbois.

Bitch, you just said the same thing five times in five sentences, and also used different voices like a pantomime. What are you - a fucking teenager? Women are attracted to 1) confidence and 2) men who pursue them. Hey, talk more about the second - sometimes, it works well for people, and at other times, the woman loses interest. How come? Confidence is always good, but pursuing someone...that is unpredictable in the results you get. To be clear, I'm talking only about women who already find you attractive above their basic threshold, and then you pursue them...sometimes it works well, other times it goes down the drain.

Most women have some social anxiety to some extent and as they age, they will become more anxious at their ability to attract men. So whilst they may look to date the potential father, hooking up with hot guys will give them a bit of short term self-affirmation that they can still get a hottie and they're not going to have to settle for a mediocre Mr Sensible just yet. This is sad and hilarious and true all at the same time.

Do you want to NOT be considered as a potential partner once women have grown out of being shallow and silly (as all people of both sexes hopefully do as they get older and more experienced)? The problem is that either you enter a r/deadbedroom situation, or worse, you get divorced around the 5 to 7 year mark. I've seen far too many party girls "settle down" at the 28-30 range, pop out two kids, and then decide to divorce and explore themselves, lol. Never to have a woman want to share her life …

I don't assume that all women have a high n-count but there are definitely telling signs. But these are the idiotic high-n women. It is the smart ones that I'm more worried about, because I'm acquaintances/friends with some of these women. On the outside, they have their shit together, have solid careers, no tattoos and fake lashes, yada yada, but at the same time, the shit they do between Friday night and Sunday night boggles the mind. Many of them are now looking for their respectable BB husba…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/22 02:25 AM

many/most men don’t respect women with a high count It's worse than that. Most intelligent men assume that all women have a high n-count until proven otherwise. And since there can be no proof of being a person who has a modicum of self-control, it is reasonable to assume a high n-count for all women.

there’s a subtle but clear difference between banter and shit tests Yeah, I don't know how to articulate the difference well enough but I think you've got it right - banter is inclusive, and if the other person doesn't respond well to my banter, I'm gonna turn down the volume till I get my banter to a frequency that the other person also gets. I'm curious about the pre-marriage cohabitation factor. Any insight into why that is? The best reasoning I've heard is that when two people are living together, say for 2-3 years, before they get married (not uncommon in high-rent places like NYC), you get into poor relationship habits...after all, he's just my BF for now, why do we need to seriously resolve this issue? Then you carry those same ingrained habits into a marriage, and whoosies, that doesn't work out so well.

Pareto principle is 80 20 by definition isn’t it? No, it isn't. The pareto principle is about disproportionality, not about 80-20. If something is 80-10 (or 90-10, or 70-20), that still meets the idea of Pareto principle. The base idea of pareto principle is that in nature, things rarely exist in 1-1 proportions.

In a different comment, you're also saying that he is going to find out eventually, anyway "And a lot of people know about her ... eventually, he'll get wind of it" Now, I don't know this guy so I have to trust your word. Ah, let's make it easier for you. Attractive + asshole = undateable Attractive + not asshole = dateable. Trying to befriend a woman in category 1 is a nightmare. You said she can do the same vetting to me. Your purpose of vetting is to judge her character. The purpose of her vetting is to decide on AFBB, and then lie to you if you're BB (which you are). If you think you can vet through her lies, r/relationships would like to have a word.

it’s not the type of thing you talk about on dates lol Did you fuck on the first date? Did you get drunk? Did you meet her at 1am at the club? If no, then she is gonna assume you're a traditionally minded guy and she has to hide her n-count. she wouldn’t know that i feel this way about it right away So you can vet her through external indicators without talking about it, but she is doing the same with you. Both can play the game.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/22 08:45 PM

This is the point of the vetting process How tf are you going to figure out someone's n-count once they know you're a traditionally-minded man, who likes women with a low n-count? The relationships sub is fully of guys whining that they were indirectly mislead (or directly lied to) by their now-wives. But you seem to know how to vet through all this?! You a mind-reader, bro?

If you observe carefully, you'll notice that the only power women have over men is to attempt to shame them. If you laugh back and mock their shaming, and don't give a shit about it, then whoops...they have nothing else to use against you. Just focus on your life priorities bro. Attraction is always, always relative. Eh, not quite. There are studies - which I'm too lazy to dig out - that show that attraction is relative in the eyes of women, but not so for men. In other words, men use a rating system - fuck, marry, ew or even just yeah/naah - whereas women use a ranking system and go for the top dogs in the hierarchy. This is why men have such a tough time in OLD. Even if the number of men and women were the same, men would find 50% of women attractive enough, whereas w…

I think it’s more likely that those who are educated tend to be from more emotionally and financially stable households and therefore have experienced less trauma and require less validation through sex. Plenty of intelligent men I know who can’t get enough casual sex because their daddy’s never loved them. Goddamn, did you have to write this comment? If I need to be personally insulted, I'll go pay a dominatrix.

Lol, this is easy. Most men are not rapists and sexual abusers, but this is not obvious and tattooed on their foreheads. Therefore, women assume that most men are dangerous until proven otherwise. The same logic applies to men too - most women are not racking up high n-counts, but men don't know which women to trust and which ones not to. So they assume that most women have a high n-count.

if I gave you 20k because I thought you were cool If you tried to, then (a) I'd think you were really stupid and mentally incapable, and (b) so it would be morally wrong to cheat someone who was mentally incapacitated. If a random wildly drunk woman offered me free sex, I'd obviously refuse. How is your offer any different, to give 20k to a random stranger? There are various ways to say "not socially awkward", but saying "I am socially calibrated" comes off saying you aren't. ...They more say something like "socially aware" or "great at having conversations", Ah, so "socially calibrated" isn't cool but "socially aware" is. But that's not all women Didn't say it was. But men don't marry a woman just to get a baby and rich ex-partner who is now on the hook for the next two decades...while he returns to his party days. Male or female - I don't care if you wanna party your life away. But to marry someone you're not into, just so you can get a baby and money for two decades...that's just insane (and totally legal). Of all the women that go home and fuck people they’ve met not even a couple hours prior, the safety concerns are a little overblown. It literally couldn't be easier. Unless you want the sex and to be sexually desired, but also want to be "chosen" as a unique and special woman, and you want the commitment of a high-value man. The women who want it both ways seem to struggle the most. Those that want only one of those usually seem to get it, though admittedly, it is tougher to get the second than to get the first.

The men complaining are usually not the ones who do the male equivalent of whatever they're complaining about. For example, the 'male equivalent' of fucking around in your 20s and settling down in your 30s is only accessible to the most attractive men, so the average dude complaining isn't really partaking in it. PPD men keep saying this - that the vast majority of men cannot participate in random hookups and ONSs that women whine about - but PPD women just never seem to get this. Are they genui…

You do know that there men that are strong and protective that aren't abusive right? Sure, why not. You make it sound like there can only be a strong abusive man or a wimp it's not that simple. Really, I said that? Are you okay? To remind you of the point that a few others and I are discussing here: The problem is not that women want something. It is that they say they want A, and then reward men who show the opposite of A. That is what fucks with our heads.

A woman complaining about the behavior of men in general is as ridiculous as a peahen complaining that peacocks have giant fan tails. Guess what, they have those tails because you mate with the males that have those tails. Females decide - females of all species, decide. In humans, women decide. You've been choosing men who act this way, and that's why men act this way. Damn son, your writing and explanations are impressive. I've got to keep an eye out for your other comments.

I'm agreeing to an extent, a weak guy is unattractive because we want a guy at a minimum that is willing to protect us when put in a dangerous situation You misunderstand. men tend to think all women are like that We assume that guns are loaded; it's safer that way. Women assume men are predatory, because that is safer for them. Hot women value hot men. Superficial women value superficial men. Intelligent women tend to value intelligent men. So if the women in your life don't value intelligence, then maybe you aren't hanging out with intelligent women (or yikes, intelligent women don't want to hang out with you).

Watch a movie - which actors generate strong emotions in you? What did they do so that this happened? Either they made strong eye contact (directly into the screen), and said something meaningful...or it was a scary moment (do not recommend scaring your dates), or a funny moment, or something outrageous. Make a note of which of these feel congruent with your personality, and perhaps, which actor is most similar to your style. Then implement a few of his methods in your life, and see how it works…

You need to be careful with taking the opinions of extremely hot girls. Agreed. I wouldn't take Bill Gates advice if I had to start my own neighborhood laundromat. I'd ask the guys in the neighborhood who run their own laundromats, or else, I'd target potential customers. I may be able to translate this. You are boring and you dont have anything that women really want. Another way to see this is that OP doesn't know how to generate strong emotions in others...pretty likely he is like that with m…

Dudes that clearly have no self solidified frame and identity are the ones who would fall for this. Most people in their 20s - men and women - have a weak sense of identity, and it takes time to build it up.

I do. All the time. They’re not single or they’re not interested. How many approaches have you made this year? For cold day-time approaches, the average success rate is below 10%...ie, if you ask 10 people for their number to set up a date, 9 will either reject you outright, or will not give you an incorrect number. Men who are successful at cold approaches typically hit on 50 women a weekend. How many men did you hit on this past weekend?

This topic has been so recycled on this sub, and almost nobody really gets it right. Sexlessness rising in men is not a world-wide phenomenon. It is mostly restricted to Anglo-Saxon nations and East Asia. Classic bluepill theories such as the rising age of marriage, or rise of the internet (porn/video games), really don't make any sense. Why would sexlessness rates be skyrocketing in the US or Australia, but remaining the same in Brazil or Russia, if it's because of porn and video games? Do men …

Where are all the women who want these relationships with men? Valid question though. Where are the women who are looking for dates? It cannot be that there are more single men than there are single women. Also, while some chads might have their own harems of multiple women, I still think this accounts for only a tiny fraction of men and women out there. So where are the rest of the women looking for partners? Where are all the good women? A question without an answer.
