The first part showed great awareness- two men can commit the same action, yet one can be seen as sexual harassment and the other can be seen as just playing around. I've noticed a small (and I mean small) but noticeable backlash against the #metoo movement and feminism in general on reddit. Although they still try to have it both ways. But what's important to remember is that extremism that hurts a large segment of the population will always collapse under the weight of its own extremism. The question is how much will we have to endure before the inevitable backlash is strong enough to push back.

In my opinion history is like a pendulum that swings back and forth between extremes. Honestly I find the level of machiavellianism to be very impressive. In the past they used to shut down dissenting opinions by using water hoses, attack dogs, and batons. Now you just pretend to care about the dissenter's safety and you can effectively shut down their voices much better than physical violence ever could. By "peacefully" shutting down their voices you prevent the grisly images of violent oppression that could inspire more support.

I literally heard that exact same phrase used in a feminist college textbook from the 1990s. It said that 75% of AIDS victims are male, but that women were the primary victims since they were the mothers, wives, and sisters of victims. Apparently this was a phrase that's been in use for a while.

Why is this being upvoted? They don't have to be poor to not know how to handle money. This can apply to anybody who receives a huge amount of money. The only thing that changes is what the definition of a "huge amount of money is". Although I do agree with the educational system not teaching essential life lessons. It would have been nice to have a class where they taught us things like how banks work, what interest means, how credit card work etc, etc, etc.
