While I agree there's far more to life than women, achieving a high SMV is kind of the whole point of this subreddit.

It's interesting, really--masculine instincts are something that WILL be expressed, one way or another; these men don't get sex, they don't have a job into which they can pour their passion, they don't work out. They have no outlet, not even a spiritual one like the priesthood or something. So it gets pent up, until it bursts.

Good use of the aphorism. We need heroes, but the point of having them is to equal and someday surpass them, not to just blindly adore. A hero is like a lantern that illuminates, not a mold that makes conformity.
