The argument is that actual rape victims would be more hesitant to come forward if the evidence wasn’t mounting. Funny how that logic does not carry over to other crimes, like fraud, murder, theft, etc.

People change over time, and our youth is our reproductive (if not sexual) prime. Low life experience coupled with reproductive urges lead to 'wild behaviour'. As you grow older, get more life experience and, overall, trade quantity for quality, you stop being 'wild'. That's my reading anyway.
