I don't see how this would be against the rules.

I would say that most people crave having an intimate relationships very badly and that explains why being in a abusive relationship is prefered to being alone. But this also means that being alone for an excessive period of time is also a very painful state for most people. I don't agree that one of those things is obviously worse than the other. I think both are pretty bad and painful.

A lot of abuse victim stay in the abusive situation because they prefer being in the relationship to being alone (of course there are also cases were they are physically threatened, but I don't talk about those).

What grinds my gears the most is that so many people here think that men get conditioned into the red pill because they get socialized as a man into hating women. No, I have been raised by a feminist mother and tried to play by the rules she taught me. I got cheated on by my first girlfriend and she cheated on me with a stereotypical toxic guy. I also observed the same happening to my male friends and relatives in many cases. This is how I came to the red pill, because it offered me a sensible e…

I agree with the general sentiment but I don't think people here get banned for having a different perspective. I am skeptical of most things user here in the sub write and think most of it is not coming from an ex-redpill perspective, but an anti-redpill perspective with clearly a lot of people being outsiders that never were in the space or understood it to begin with. I get downvoted all the time, but I've never been banned.

I do believe that these preferences are natural, as they are found to be quite consistent across cultures. But I will not act like that is a proven fact, there certainly is room for debate and there probably will be, as the scientific methods aren't there to disentangle nature from nurture (yet?). I also don't believe that humans have any obligation to adhere to what is "natural". Anyways, the reason why I would recommend guys to invest in getting confident and women to invest in beauty is that …

When it comes to what you want in a partner you shouldn't orient towards averages, but personal preferences. When it comes to becoming more attractive to the other sex in general, you definitely should - if your goal is to increase the number of options, that is.

I agree there is no guarantee. I was talking about success in the sense of a probability, not as an absolute. In any case, you aren't entitled to anything when it comes to relationship. You can make changes in your life to put the probabilities more in your favor and men come to the red pill because they look for ways to enhance their chances (black pill is a different in that they don't believe that is possible).

Yes, that is why status and social proof is important to women. You don't need to be a lone wolf conan the barbarian type to signal confidence, being well-regarded in your community might be worth just as much.

If you are a morbidly obese loosing weight will make you more successful with the opposite sex. I think thinking otherwise is more harmful.

Yes, I was responding to that very post. It's not wrong to orient yourself towards what the average woman wants and it's possible to derive that. Of course it's not smart to beat yourself up for things you can't change, but when it comes to think you can work on it's a good strategy. E.g. I wouldn't say it's a bad strategy for a woman to invest in her beauty, because it will make her more attractive to most men. Of course the answer isn't to pretend you are something you are not, but maybe try t…

I agree with your post insofar as I think that black and white thinking does not help and in some cases actually is dangerous. Still, I think there is value in recognizing that there are things that the average woman is attracted to, especially if these are things you can actually work on (like confidence).

Humans are very intelligent apes with a great capability for self-reflection and self-control. But we still are to a large extent controlled by our primal urges and our lizard brains. Just like men look for traits that indicate good motherly qualities in women, women still are instictively drawn to men that indicate an ability to protect them. But both men and women are also capable of self-reflection and can recognize that this isn't necessarily what is actually important in a partner. But I ho…

That is a reasonable definition I can agree with.

No, quite the opposite. As I said I was raised to be a good housekeeper and emotionally available and these are qualities I bring into a partnership, in any way. My first relationship ended with me being cheated on with a guy that was embodying all those toxic masculine traits that I was always so careful to avoid. This experience made me turn to RP. I don't think that you should only focus on looks, assertiveness and self-confidence. But for the stereotypical "nice guy" it is a good place to st…

I don't believe that it's healthy to shame someone for their sexual fantasies, as long as they do not actually harm others (which I never did). It's hard to let go of the shame though. I also don't think women are better people. I think they are less aggressive, but I believe they resort to emotional manipulation more often. (Not like men never do it, but I honestly believe women do it more). I don't think being a good housekeeper or being emotionally available reallly helps to be attractive as …

I am using the words in the way I have been taught. I was told that pornography is objectifying to women, for example. And I think that point could certainly be made, even according to your definition. Doesn't change the fact that I find it arousing.

I was raised by a feminist mom and learned from an early age that objectifying women was bad. Tough luck, my sexuality just works that way so I had deep shame about that ingrained in me. I thought women were better, because their sexuality works less like that and that they would be less "primitive". I also believed that in most relationships men were to blame if things went south, because they are lazy or emotionally unavailable so I tried to not be like that.
