Hey man, unfortunate this happened. I think you need to take a step back and reevaluate this whole situation. For one, you're still talking about "salvaging" the situation. Ask yourself what you're really looking for here. I know you want someone you see a future with, but honestly It sounds like you're looking for a savior. No matter how rushed, you had communication expectations, and she didn't fulfill them. What part of this makes sense to try to continue with? Anyway, step back and ask yours…

“Taking my fucking shirt off, standing tall and proud…” I won’t deny the power of a solid physique, but this is also key. My buddy went to Spain for a summer program in college. The first thing he reported back to me is how the man stand and walk tall, as though they’re proud to be men. That alone signals plenty. Congrats on your hard work paying off!

What’s meant for you won’t pass you by. Anyway, embrace the suck. Regret Is worse than rejection. If you don’t believe me, go out and get rejected by 5 girls tomorrow.

Ever heard of sex transmutation? It's mentioned in the esoteric chapter in "Think in Grow Rich." Sex is powerful, but it's not merely an act. It's an energy. What if we could take that energy (typically directed towards the opposite sex) and harness that power to enhance ourselves and our creativity? This question is the beginning of the concept. I'll give you time and space to learn more :)

To be more interestING, you should be more interesTED. Ask good questions. Seek a genuine understanding of your partner and people around you. Most importantly, get out of your own head. There's a reason Journalists and avid readers are seen as more interesting. It's not them, but their level of curiosity and interest in the world around them. And yeah, go get some more hobbies. If there's anything that you've ever thought of doing, now's the time to try it.

You're a sharp guy. Very introspective and attentive to underlying lessons. I kept her on Instagram so she will know how she fucked up big time Fight the urge to do this. It just keeps her on your mind and causes you to fantasize about your success without her. Worst case scenario, she realizes she's done wrong and tries to get back in, only for the game to repeat itself.

Spot on. These days, using the short cut of man/woman in the workplace isn't as black and white as just years ago when female bosses were uncommon. We can't even say the same for masculine vs. feminine. After all, the ideal boss will have a mix of masculine and feminine traits. In my professional experience, I've found that what separates bosses are their management style. Bosses that micromanage tend to not be secure in themselves. That can apply to a female in a male-dominated industry, or it …

Great summary. I'm surprised you didn't mention the prostitution issue, especially its prevalence in Cartagena. Seems irrelevant for your lesson, but it's just something that'll surprise you when you get there if you weren't aware. Some clubs in Medellin are full of them. Great advice on safety too. Just about every website I consulted tried to convince me not to even take my real phone over there. Just be smart, don't get drunk, and be aware of your surroundings at all times.

You need to relax. You're putting too much pressure on yourself as if you have something to prove. What's your end goal in all this? If you think by escalating and getting a girl in bed is going to change your beta behaviors, you have it backwards. Change the way you see yourself first. You will still fail with women no matter how alpha you become. The point is to use your internal compass as your reference, not your external wins and losses.

"You are perfect just the way you are, and there's always room for improvement." I think we can split OP's advice and the criticism by recognizing one's inherent value while also improving one's social value. Thinking in terms of being the "best" value isn't helpful or necessary. Generic products fly off the shelves daily. They are hardly the best, but they are great options for many. If they focused on being the best compared to brand names, they would fail/never take off. Believe in yourself, …

Initiate a harassment suit. Any written material will be discoverable (able to be retrieved from you upon request). And consider beating them at their own game. Write letters to their employers yourself if you have to. Hire a private investigator to follow them around. Sounds petty and ridiculous, but if they're making your life hell, you have to fight back some way.

Hate to say it, but as great as the blog was, Roissy has been gone for quite some time now. In the last couple of years, there was a notable shift away from classic posts and topics to an unhealthy obsession with political and racial issues. Not sure if the rumors are true about the original writer selling it off to a conglomerate of posters. I'm really curious as to the specific instance claimed for violation.

I'm a bit late, but I just saw this doc. My thoughts: -The best parts were non-narrated. Following the Aussie guys/California girls around and just getting their raw, visceral reactions to situations they just took part in spoke volumes. -The commentary by most of the experts interviewed either fell short or missed the point. They pushed the fact that men and women seek validation from other men, while men in fact also seek validation from women (in the form of attention) when it comes to sex. A…

The tone has already been set, and unfortunately it's not a good one. You see, there are 3 types of communication: A) The child: petulant and childish, self-explanatory; B: The parent: domineering and bossy; C: The Adult: cool and rational. Your communication (literal and subconscious) wavered between parent-child, child-child, and child-parent(fighting, trying to appease, etc). Fortunately it's not too late to be the adult. You must do the following: 1) Eliminate all unnecessary contact with he…

So basic yet so important. It's early pick-up that brought guys who wanted to change themselves into something they could accept. We should seek to accept ourselves first, then improve.

I'm speaking more in an existential sense. In a guilt/shame dichotomy, the guy in the example could say "I'm a decent guy who made bad health choices and want to improve" or he can say "I'm a bad person whose identity is defective because I'm not in shape." Your identity is separate from your actions. That's not to say that the actions you take aren't significant to consequences/relationships.

This is THE approach guide. Comprehensive and full of truth. I don’t approach as if I am the weak one asking for acceptance, but the powerful one accepting her. I even say absurd shit like “thanks for coming” or “I’ve never seen you here before” as if I was the owner and I was “letting” her be there. This times 10. This is the key of dominance: it's not about mastering others, but rather mastering yourself. Uptalk and weak tonality is a symptom of not believing in yourself or what you're saying. In my opinion to be dominant you need to lead the interaction and break rapport. Dominance does not have to be in-your-face attitude. As stated above, it's control of the self. Think of the soft-spoken old school guys who barely let out a word when they talk. They aren't trying to speak over anyone or showcase thei…

It means that the Dunning-Kruger effect is real and you are not the judge of your proficiency in a language. Or that 50% of my law practice is dedicated to that language. But I forgot, you're the only person who uses your language for business. The world doesn't care about your feelings, and neither do I. Oh you're so alpha. Second-language learning is much different than native acquisition. As someone who learned their second language as a child, I'd disagree. He speaks some languages very well…

Thanks for the reply. The journal idea is excellent. I was amazed with how exhausting the first week at 100% target language was. The brain will be cooking. Same here! My first trip to a Spanish-speaking county felt like my brain had been lifting a heavy weight. It's crazy how immersion pushes your brain to use every resource available, as I caught myself using words I had never used in conversation.

Please explain what "worked for me" means, and how you know. As a whole meaning comprehensively. These are not tactics to pick and choose from. I've used each method to increase my proficiency. What do I mean how I know? What kind of question is this? Or are you the only one who has learned a foreign language? How many languages could you write your original post in? I'm glad you shared your insight here. Everything provided within is what worked for me as a whole. For example, I think that movie/television/radio programming directed to native speakers is not a very good use of your time at the beginning stage I agree with you if we're talking about using it in isolation. Your goal is important here. As I listed in the post, your goal is simply to listen, to hear pronunciation, to differentiate words, etc. It is not a method to sit down and soak up the langu…

I would however include an alternative to rote learning. Seeing as you stated you prefer efficient learning. Thanks for the post. This is different from rote memorization because now that you have translated the word, you're able to see how it's used in context when you read the text again. It's been incredibly effective in me learning and retaining words (more so than flashcards, which is rote memorization). You can do this with songs as well. Like you said, you've gotta admire her hustle. Bullshitters and opportunists are in every field. As a higher up in state politics once told me, there are work-horses and show-horses. There's always a good handful who can spot the bs from a mile away, but the blinders seem to come on in full force when the element of sex is added. Next time you see her present at a conference, be sure to ask her some questions that only the real author would know.

I'm not big on the "10,000 hours" rule for a number of reasons, the main one being that you can't peg mastery to a single number. Mastery requires many hours of consistent, deliberate practice and learning with the necessary corrections and adjustments. Also, this book isn't limited to mastery per se. Like I mentioned in the previous post, some prefer to be "expert enough" in a skill, and that's fine.

You should have called the police on her. The next best step is to go to the police, file charges, and ask your witnesses to provide statements as well (in case no cameras). Also, don't feel like you shouldn't press charges. That's crappy behavior to instigate an altercation and play victim, and she deserves every bit of trouble that follows her from it. Lastly, you're a better man than me for not reacting with a punch.

An engagement ring is a no-obligation gift unless you make it clear at the time that it is conditional on the wedding. It really depends on state law/precedent. Otherwise, an explicit agreement will govern if you have one.

The fact that people don't understand this simple post reflects on them. The post is saying have a purpose/goal/definite chief aim in your life, and acquire power to move towards that goal. Seeking power for its own sake is as useful as stocking up cars without engines: you're going nowhere.

External occurrences are only byproducts of the internal. Your original post got it backwards. "Be confident with women to be a confident person." Definitely hire a laywer. More and more of these cases are being thrown out in actual courts (based on the patently unfair process that takes place in schools). Not legal advice (wink wink) but a cursory glance of the facts suggests you may have a defamation claim. Hopefully this is something that would allow you to get your damages (money spent fighting this) back. Invest what you can fighting this, as this is your future.

Have your attorney take it to the District Attorney who is prosecuting your case, NOT the police. Consider making an affidavit (sworn, notarized statement) of the matters that took place. State clearly the course of events. If you are keen on taking a plea deal, See if you can 1) avoid jail time, and 2) enter into a pre-trial diversion program where you can be eligible to have the charge expunged (not sure if available for felony in your state). Women are complaining that men they are trying to attract won't even approach them, unless they're so drunk they have a shield of liquid courage. On the other side of this, some of these women are blind to the idea that just maybe the attraction isn't mutual. It reminds me of the old pua community which blamed the man for every facet of the approach without bothering to take into account the attraction (or lack thereof) of the woman. Her biggest achievement is that she not a wife of a barista, but a spouse of a doctor. And why shouldn't it be? It's laudable when a woman's mission is in-sync with her husband, or when she supports her husband in his own so much that she takes pride in his achievements. Perhaps the context may be different here, but TRP should be careful about criticizing everything under the sun. Do you see my point here? I really don't. This whole thing smacks of insecurity. You should be enjoying yourself regardless, not in fear that your gf is getting more attention than you. However, both of you should respect the relationship. You're not enemies; you're now two individuals working towards a common goal, which is a solid relationship. First time I've seen this. It's definitely eye-opening. Not in the sense that I'm learning about the burdens of men, but that many women do not understand, or simply do not make an effort to. Male privilege is a go-to term today, but what many don't realize is that each gender has their own lopsided privileges in our current society. It's just the way it is. Great analysis. I definitely agree with this. It's easy to "hold frame" when you have an audience on your side that loves you. But it's clear that her comment affected him on a deeper level. I can't imagine another comedian, say Conan, asking a guest to define funny and criticizing her country based on that. Then again, I'm not surprised from Stewart. Don't try this at home. Someone could actually get hurt. Including you. Watch your back with false rape/domestic violence accusations. I'm all for frame, but this is rather toxic for all people involved. To each his own methods. And yes, I can be critical of his actions without being jealous, just as I would criticize a simp. The irony is that the majority of what is known as game today was developed and codified by black pimps. Your nightmare is another man's field day. I used to be tentative about the idea of working under a female boss (or with many women) until I actually did so. I realized that with women in authority, I have an opening into an emotional door that I don't with men. My strategy is very simple: work is central. As for the peripheral activities, they involve subtle but strong flirting, keeping frame, and inciting challenges where necessary (I'll go into specifics if you'd like). The key is to have ind…

I'll catch heat for this, but I'll say it anyway: This is nonsense. The RedPill, which is essentially enlightenment of true masculinity that has been covered by society, was hardly born out of a bunch of narcissistic validation junkies from the PUA scene. Sure, there's overlap, but those who move from PUA tend to take the knowledge and move towards a more level-headed arena. As for the discipline, I honestly don't see the point of approaching for sex. Dress well and periodically move around. If you notice anyone catch your eye, smile and approach. No need for any lines, just extend your hand and get contact off the bat. Also, know how to dance (and how to lead). A simple "let's go dance" while moving towards the center of the room.

This was a favorite show of mine back in the day. Attell was just the perfect kind of host for the show, not taking himself too seriously. Also, on his style, I've always thought that those who struggle with conversation should speak to someone as if they're on a radio show, doing a half-serious interview with humor injected within the convo. Great breakdown.

I hope this is sarcasm. In the case that it's not, the behaviour is counter-productive at best and destructive at worst. Very interesting perspective. I would say to carefully note the difference between a "shit test" and overt disrespect. One can be sidestepped playfully. The other needs to be dealt with succinctly and thoroughly to make sure it doesn't happen again. "Walking away" is one of your options in an approach. Telling your boss (with authority) that she crossed the line is an option in the workplace.

I've actually had a number of newbies message me regarding alpha behavior and asking "is this alpha?" for every text message. They were more worried about being Perceived as alpha, rather than accepting themselves. The whole point is just to be comfortable with yourself, which is ironically a key component of 'alpha.' Being preoccupied with certain behaviors (or perception of them) will stunt your game.

-Learn to listen. Ask questions about people. Get them to talk about themselves, and the convo will never end. -Use imagery when telling stories. Focus on the characters, your experiences, and your reactions to the events you are describing. That makes it human and relatable. best of luck

See AA as excitement. If it wasn't something worth getting excited about, then you would not have the feeling. If you want to manage it, just say something like "You're making me nervous for some reason" or something of the like. You will definitely stand out as authentic.

Hang back. When you get eye contact, raise your chin with a greeting and half-smile. If she reciprocates, use your fingers to gesture "come here."

Remember a couple of points: -No one is watching you! Look around, and notice that the majority of people are nervously bobbing their head to the music. They're too wrapped up in their own insecurities to judge you. -Be playful. Get in front of her and tease her about her dancing. If that's too scary, then just get near her. If she bumps into you, pretend your hurt and say "you owe me a dance" playfully. Works every time. -Don't forget to BREATHE! From the stomach, not the chest.

-Change your focus from self-absorbed to that of a "judge." See it as if she has to perform for you. Notice when she's nervous/interested. -Find a flaw in her. It can be anything. This is a sure way to keep your "alpha" in balance.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
