Welcome to my home Poland, a very catholic country that has been also very conservative for a while. It's pretty backwards on a number of issues - abortions are very restrictive, and surrogacy is impossible since whoever gave birth to the child is legally considered to be the mother. Feminism is a lot of things for a lot of people, and you definitely hear more of the extremes. In general, nobody sees themselves as evil. They have some other goals that when viewed from the outside are harmful. Like supporting women no matter what that turns into supporting abusive women and ignoring male victims. Seems that it plays on the idea that centrists generally enable bad things to happen due to wanting compromise or not having strong viewpoints. Something like "one side wants universal healthcare, another wants to lynch minorities, can't we just get along and meet down the middle of no healthcare and people in prisons?". Like I've seen people point to South Park as an example of the "both sides bad" attitude that makes you more apathetic than anything else.

My wife was anti therapy as well, but she did have one session at some point. The therapist did give her a helpful tip of journaling to clear her head to help her fall asleep better without mulling over everything for hours. It helped. Sometimes you do learn some good tricks from such people!

Yeah, it's an awful term since it is too easy to misunderstand it. People hear it and think "all masculinity is toxic" rather than "there is some specific toxicity that relates to the masculine". Since if you actually look at what the term is meant to mean, it is something that can hurt both sexes. Stuff like "real men don't cry" or performance machoism is toxic to men as well...

Eventually, yes, but chances are you do have a good deal of boys and girls interacting within their sex a lot more than across the sexes until they are teenagers. Then add to that the fact that people are online at a much younger age and there are influencers trying to grift on impressionable young people, you do have a recipe for some people to go straight from youth media that caters to them into algorithms that cater to them before they form good relationships with the opposite sex.

From what I understand, bars want to keep a certain male-female ratio. If they'd let everyone in there would be too many men and not enough women, and chances are the bar would go under since people wouldn't want to go to it. And from a bouner's perspective - "I'm meeting someone who is already inside" is an excuse they probably heard a million times. You need to maintain your social media intake. If something is making you angry in a way that upsets you, avoid it. It really helps with keeping your sanity. Similarly, learn to categorise things into "things I can affect" and "things out of my control". Since there isn't anything you can do about the latter, there is no point in worrying about them.

You should probably look at quality of life in general in those countries first before picking a country based on how misandrist it is. Like sure, Russia might be pretty pro-men, but with the sanctions in place you can't get anything western in there, you are more likely to get mugged or heck, someone might draft you into a war with high casualty rates. I remember one season of survival like that. One team didn't do too well at the start, then the rain started coming down, their food got mouldy and so on, and then suddenly you have a shot of them in rain parkas they didn't have before eating something the producers gave them I think. And that was episode 1, and a few episodes down they mixed the groups so it wasn't as interesting anymore.

I noticed something else strange about that show - it's at the same time progressive (having LGBT people as a matter of fact and also letting them be on both sides of the protagonist vs antagonist spectrum) but it also kinkshames. Well, once the student debt is cancelled and tuition is free / affordable, it would lower the bar for entry for everyone. That would be good for everyone who were hesitant to go in fear of debt.
