This. Yeah it can really suck not having romantic companionship but if a man, for whatever reason, has a difficult time meeting or attracting women he should take a timeout to self-reflect and cultivate his human side (for lack of a better term) and learn to be comfortable in his own skin. It doesn't surprise me at all that many red pill enthusiasts are chronically single. It's such a toxic philosophy but because its adherents think they have discovered hard universal truths about male/female re…

Red pill philosophy says women need to be chaste, demure virgins or else they are degenerate trash that no man wants to have as a long-term partner. But at the same time, according to rp, it's ok for men to have multiple partners, cheat while in LTRs, pressure and coerce women into sleeping with them and treat women like disposable sex objects...because men's behavior is a product of evolution and, well, boys will be boys. Red pill expects (wants) women to sacrifice their independence and freedo…

Remember, naturalizing history, and social dynamics is a fundamentally right wing endeavor. That is what is behind redpill at its core, reactionary politics. Not every single thing we do as people is motivated by biology. Culture and how society is structured has just as much of an influence. Have an open mind to that and get some sociology in your life. Thank you for saying this. Biological reductionism is very seductive because it has a logic to it that seems to be "objective" as it is undenia…

Uh, European women, if they are from Western or Northern Europe, are western.

RP is kind of like PUA was in the early to mid-2000s. It attracts guys who have "issues" attracting women. Maybe they are shy or awkward around women, think they are ugly or they don't have a a lot of experience interacting with the opposite sex. They want to get laid or find a girlfriend. When they discover RP they find a comprehensive set of explanations and rationalizations for their situation that seem logical and intuitively "make sense." That is where the trip down the rabbit hole begins. …

Technocratic zero-sum dating in a decaying late-capitalist society in which people are ruthlessly pushed to commodify themselves is a recipe for endless misery and despair. If you obsess over red pill stuff and take its social Darwinist 'philosophy' as an unassailable truth you are going to be fucking miserable and bitter and the more you immerse yourself in RP culture, the deeper your despair will be. If you are male and chronically single and already suffering from low self-esteem and bitterne…

In general, I've found that women you get along with and treat with love and respect whilst having your own boundaries and life will react well to you. Quoted for truth.

At the time i was a very insecure teen boy who had an obsession with wanting to be female I couldn’t really scratch away. I found MGTOW initially as a way to help with my what I thought at the time ‘fetish’. So, if I am reading you correctly, you were an angry and confused teenager who hated women, then you had a 180 degree change of heart and went from hating women to realizing that you wanted to be a woman? How is this not a fetish? You sound like a confused male teenager with autogynephilic t…

I agree with this 1000% People who obsessively read internet sex/dating forums looking for advice or answers to problems in their lives often end up getting extremely bitter and depressed. If you experience life as a hyper-competitive zero sum game, as per red pill dogma, you're gonna end up being bitter and miserable af. I have seen this happen to male friends and acquaintances and a few of them got permanently lost in that particular rabbit hole.

+1 And reading too much about redpill "dating facts" on the internet is a good way for an already insecure guy to mess up his relationship.

Actually, the IED acronym was coined by the British army in Northern Ireland during the civil conflict there.

Wait, you mean having my biases confirmed on the internet doesn’t actually prove that they are true? Omg I don’t know if I can handle the implications of this...

Why is that some (well, quite a few actually) Americans think that criticizing aspects of American society is “anti-American”? You never hear Canadians, for example, scold someone for being “anti-Canadian” or an Australian whining about “anti-Australianisms.” It’s hilarious how thin skinned Americans can be. No country is perfect. Get over it.
