Your opinion about the UK is not even an opinion. It’s a observation and a fallacious one at that. Every country is doing fine with or without a draft; the draft has nothing to do with it. You would be insane to think your country wouldn’t draft from the population if it became embroiled in a war.
She was stranded on an island because the bear destroyed her canoe. I’m not saying she didn’t annoy me, but she had a pretty good reason to be upset. Granted, assuming the story is true, she put herself in the situation, but still.
