I get what you mean. I've always been told that I give off the impression of being intimidating to men which is why I 'scare them off'. And also just straight up being considered rude in a very 'you could get much more positive attention if you were nicer (read compliant to bullshit)'. And I always tell them that if you're uncomfortable with having your negative stereotypical view of women challenged by my opinion or behavior, maybe take a second to check your perception instead of judging me.
