Wow! That's quite the opinion! I don't know what being a guest here means, but I will not be stopping listening to my heart. I do appreciate the response though.

Nope, I just saw a guy asking for help and I gave him what I felt in my heart would help him. Did I do something wrong here?

Hearing her say that the guy was cute would probably not make him feel the best.

Glad that worked out for ya man!

Is there some reason to hide it from her?

Your welcome! I know it is hard to ask others for advice on personal matters. As a last resort you could show her this thread, if she doesn't somehow feel you care about your relationship!

Perfect! Now tell her this! The best thing you can do is have this honest discussion with her. You can plan and strategize all you want but if you guys want to make it work its best just to be honest. Honesty may be uncomfortable at first, but I can tell you from experience, once you have that honesty you will not want to go back to the old ways of worry.

You don't need to justify your feelings of yourself to anyone, least of all the internet! You are what you think of yourself.

What do you mean by "shit test"? I have never heard that term.

This is a good way too. Keep it light-hearted and humorous, it shows confidence without asserting it.

I wouldn't start assuming she is all worked up by this guy. Maybe just by the idea. Its a compliment to have someone give you their number, like a highlight to being at work. You are also assuming this guy is ready to be a homewrecker. You already said she is not allowed to wear her ring at work. He might have just found her attractive and nice and saw no ring so he saw no reason not to make a move. Assuming in the negative right away is going to put you in a state of negativity. which wont help…

Hmm your post gave me a thought of a response similar to yours! Something along the lines of "For me to be jealous, I would have to lack the understanding of what I already have."

I would also say to keep a level head and don't start assuming things about her. She has done nothing serious yet, just a cry for attention. Try not to think of your response as needing to be some sort of protection or an attack. This may also sound contradictory to my other statement, but being beta is not necessarily a bad thing. Guys are all about being puffed up and "alpha". But you are trying to win your woman's heart right? You need to listen to what your heart is telling you! What is your…

Yes I love your response. A woman's perspective would really help him too. I really feel women in our society are very sexually repressed. For good reason too! Women are called "sluts" etc for enjoying sex. We make them feel ashamed for doing what feels good and right. Which is the craziest thing in my mind. Calling girls that you want to have fun with all sorts of negative things, and then expecting them to do all these sexual things with you without any sort of dilemma. Basically woman are tau…

I see. That makes sense. Is your response a typical one from you? In a joking manner I mean? I agree that giving her validation for this action would be wrong, because then she would have learned this is a tactic she can use to get your validation. But this doesn't change the fact that she is in need of validation. So maybe think of some things you can do to show her you treasure your time together but at the same time you want her to know you are strong and capable of moving on. This doesn't me…

She is def seeking your attention. She wants you to show her you love and appreciate her. If she was planning on pursuing this guy, she probably wouldn't have showed you his number. The desire to make someone feel jealous comes out of the feeling of lack of love.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
