I had a Spanish teacher that would always make sexist comments to the boys in our class back when I was a sophomore in HS, let’s say a young guy made a mistake and mispronounced a Spanish word, or didn’t do the work. She would say “boys, I’m not shocked” something along the lines, like it was a stereotype almost that boys were lazy and didn’t contribute.
