People who do porn choose to participate and do so specifically for the gratification of viewers. People get turned on by watching people fuck, so some people make a living providing that service. How does it objectify women when they participate willingly? There's a lot of legitimately bad things to be said about porn (check the top comments on this post), but the belief that anyone who watches is objectifying women is indicative of an antiquated puritanical worldview.

As someone who was also raised in a very religious household, it sounds like he's shy.
