I still lurk in some places that are hardcore ‘feminism’ (maybe it’s actual feminism but just not my brand or maybe it’s literally not feminism) that say men cannot be feminists and are at best weak allies. I still agree with some of their content, I’ll admit. But not that. While I still believe women do face more issues in general, I still think men need support and, well, help. But the type of feminism that this person and so many others tout is so sinister and mean and backwards. I wish more feminists would stand up against this.
