0	Does not paying for the date fuck things up somehow? If you don't have the cash to take her to a nice place, opt for a cheaper place (if she's human she will understand) or better yet, figure out something cheaper and infinitely more awesome than just going out to dinner. I understand what people are saying about going Dutch, but it still seems (to me) if you are asking, you should pay the first time you go out.
