I’d show him more Scott Galloway content along with having your sister restrict what he’s able to see. I like Scott and think he’s a good role model for young men while he also talks about their issues. But otherwise I’d have a conversation with him about what he find appealing in the red pill and show him a positive role model of masculinity Is your sister a single mom? I feel like this is also a conversation with dad if he’s a part of your nephews life

That’s what I would think too, but ime I’ve asked them about inviting other friends along when we go out to the bars or similar things and they almost never follow through. I have female friends I’ve grown up with or within my wider circle but I wouldn’t say they’re any better or worse than male friends when it comes to meeting more women. The male friend also have wives/girlfriends you end up meeting yoo

There’s a difference between being friends first and building some rapport first. Yes, it’s absolutely ok to build rapport first if it’s a place you’ll see her regularly. Otherwise, I’d say only stay friends with someone you’d be happy being friends with. Though IMO, it doesn’t make sense to stay friends with someone when one of you wants something more

Having kids together, traveling and of course someone to share physical affection with
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 12:38 AM

Tamil dudes tend to be on the shorter side, I’d assume he’s 5’8” haha
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 06:10 PM

I’ve noticed that the Indians who tend to look more white definitely fare better. I’m 5’10” but unfortunately I have the darker skin tone, so the height and symmetrical face only gets me so far.

Annually. Maybe 1% of US men make $40k a month

Be in decent shape, make good money (if he makes above $40k he’s already above average)

I’d say I’m kind of the same way. I feel like I’ll be hitting off with a white woman who’s cute but not necessarily a model, and then get turned down when I ask her out. I feel like even if it’s subconscious for them, I’m paying a penalty for being Indian. Also, on dating apps the overwhelming amount of my matches/likes are Indian women. I’d honestly prefer East Asian or white women, but I’d never turn someone down for being Indian if I hit it off with them otherwise

I’m in the US where the average dude is borderline obese and makes about $40k/yr. I’m in decent shape and make 3x what the average dude makes. I’d be severely depressed if I found out that I’m considered average. I’m also south Asian so I get that I also pay a big penalty for that

We went and got drinks at a brewery I introduced my ex too. I know this is a pretty standard date, but the chemistry was amazing. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out as we were both at different stages of life

I’m a guy and I don’t have a lot of experience. I’ve dated and have had sex before I just haven’t had a relationship last more than a few months (I’m 29). But I’d say for not even having been kissed I’d say mid 20s I’d start to think he’s asexual or question it a bit more. That being said, I’m considered as not having a lot of experience and I know it’ll hold me back so I can’t bash other dudes for not having experience

How little are we talking about? Like never been on a date before or having dated but nothings lasted more than a few months?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 06:43 AM

It’s definitely nuanced. Personally for me it’s be a different kind of miserable for each. But, I’m honestly more worried about missing the train and ending up childless. I have enough money that I can get the snip after I’ve had a child

If we’re talking long term relationship, you of course need to be pleasant around. Physical attraction wise, id say a fat woman is the one trait I don’t think I could be physically attracted to. I’m not expecting my next partner to look like a model, but I think someone in decent shape isn’t an unreasonable standard to ask for. Fortunately for you, weight is something you have some control over.

My thought is if it’s someone who’s company you enjoy and there’s no obvious dealbreakers, give it a chance or 2. I don’t think you can really know if you like someone romantically without 1:1 time together
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 03:18 PM
1

Asking for something is not unreasonable if you meet the standard yourself. It’s irritating when I’ve been called shallow for not wanting an obese partner when I’m 5’10 and 150 lbs Also, the no single moms isn’t unreasonable. It’s a lot to date someone with kids. I did it and it’s really tough.

She surprisingly did reach out to reschedule. I take the attitude to give them the benefit of the doubt but just have no expectations
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/23 07:06 AM

This was on Hinge. She did reply back saying that she’s not feeling well. I put the ball in her court to reschedule but my expectations that she reaches out aren’t high

100% agree. I was supposed to have a date tonight but I’m getting radio silence when trying to confirm the date 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 10:12 PM

I definitely agree. I don’t doubt for a second my male (and female) friends care about me. But in the end, their families will always be their priority, not me. In a romantic relationship you should be prioritizing each other and your kids if you have them
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 02:47 AM

Also keep in mind that all those things are correlated. Rich people have the money to spend on cosmetics, fitness and already had social connections to get where they are

I think 75% of the US is overweight or obese, so that sounds about eight
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/23 03:51 AM

I’m a hetero man who’s at a healthy weight. I definitely wouldn’t date an obese woman, as I’m repulsed by that appearance. For overweight, that’s definitely harder to be into but if a chubby woman asked me out I’d give it a fair shot if she had a good personality. However, I’d much prefer to be with a thin woman.

Yes, I lift 4x a week and I’m 5’10”. Yes, my first dates usually are a drink unless she doesn’t drink, in which case I’ll do a coffee

I definitely agree with that. Unfortunately, as a south Asian dude in the US I’m at the bottom of the barrel for women’s preferences
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/23 10:02 PM

The studies have generally shown that Asian and south Asian men tend to have a much harder time in dating. Same goes for black women, but it’s not quite as bad as dating as an Asian/south Asian man

It’s not like most women look very feminine. If you’re in the US, the average woman is 5’4” and 170 lbs, that’s borderline obese. I do feel like there’s now a double standard where men are called shallow for caring about their partners looks but women are allowed to have those standards
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/23 07:54 PM

I’ve gained 30 lbs of muscle in the past year or so and the only people who’ve really noticed are family and other men. In the end, I think most women want a tall white guy who’s not overweight. These are the guys who are cleaning up (and the loaded men too)

If it’s with friends, I’d prefer they get me in front of their single friends instead of “you’re a great person, you’ll find someone”

Brunette No preference 5’2 - 5’4” Petite/slim build In the same ballpark, this will create the least issues No preference, as long as income/potential is same ballpark as me No preference. No preference. I’m open, I just ask that they’re open minded and respect my culture Straight female A few years younger to a few years older. IME, I’ve connected better with older women, but I also want to have a kid too which gets harder with age Liberal, but not the insufferable liberal extreme

Nope. I’ve been begging my female friends and my friends wives to invite their single friends when we hang out. I love them as people but many of them haven’t been single since college so they don’t know the struggle

If you don’t take care of yourself there’s definitely a wall. Let’s be honest, most people don’t make an effort as they’re just getting by and they age horribly lol. However, if you make the effort and have good genetics you’ll age like a fine wine or a fine cheese. I hope your husband makes the effort to take car of himself too!

If you’re in the US you’re average height. The average woman in the US is your height and 170 lbs, you’re doing great!

How tall are you?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/23 09:33 PM

Let’s be honest, if the woman is fit and she’s aged reasonably well she’s usually the more desirable one. My ex was 40 and she told me she was stunned at the amount of attention she still gets on the apps. Granted, she was 5’4” and about 115 - 120 lbs. If she was fat that wouldn’t have been true

The apps in and of themselves aren’t the problem imo, it’s that people don’t realize there main purpose is to make money and we’re too dependent on them. They should be used as a supplement to meeting people IRL, not in place of them. That being said, I try to strike up conversations with women IRL and in most cases I get the “Why are you talking to me?” vibe from them, yet they complain that they hate the apps too. Also, i fee like any hobby class I try is mostly dudes (yes, I go because I like…

I’d say 2 or 3. I’m a dude, but I 100% agree with Ury’s advice along the lines of “If you enjoyed the persons company and there’s no dealbreakers, go on the second date”. I know a good amount of couples who only started feeling the chemistry on the 2nd or 3rd date. Also I’ve known couples where the woman initially friendzoned the dude saying “no spark”, but then was encouraged to give the date a shot and now they’re married

I agree with you, I think there’s a balance. I’m a dude, but I think it’s fair to go on the first and second dates if you enjoy the other persons company and there’s no obvious dealbreakers and you’re not turned off by the person’s appearance. Personally, things with my ex were those fireworks, but things crashed and burned with her (it ended amicably). Yes, there are some cases where I know it’s not going anywhere, but there’s been cases where I get told “no chemistry” when it’s after the first…

I think people need to give more of a chance, if you enjoy the person’s company, there’s no obvious dealbreakers and you’re not turned off by them physically then give it a chance or two. It frustrates me when women default to “no you’re just a friend” without going on the fucking date. You can’t really know if you like someone without 1:1 time imo
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/23 10:08 PM

Women would be more open to dating friends instead of defaulting to “No, he’s just a friend”. You know he’s a good guy that you enjoy spending time with, and I’d assume you think he’s decently attractive if you’re hanging out with him. so give him a chance but don’t be afraid to turn them down if you’re not feeling it after a proper date. Women would be more open to being approached at bars, the gym etc. I get told women don’t want to be approached at these places, but where the fuck am I suppos…

If you’re meeting a stranger from OLD or from a bar there’s nothing wrong with it as a first date. If anything, I would hate it if we went for a full dinner and didn’t vibe at all. With a coffee or drinks date, you can bail after a half hour if you’re not enjoying the persons company

I wish I was able to filter out by waist size. If that was an option, fat women would definitely have a harder time. I already deleted hinge because I felt like most of the options it was presenting me didn’t weigh less than 250 lbs 🤦‍♂️ That being said, I think in the dating market short men and fat women are the ones who are the worst off. Granted, fat women have some control over that, the short men unfortunately don’t. I have a 5’5” male friend who’s successful, fit and a cool guy but he sti…

If you mutually agree to be friends then be friends. However, I had a chick friendzone me, but I feel like she hasn’t really done anything to be a friend besides invite me to her bday party. I’m still friendly because we take class together, but I’ll never go out of my way for her at this point.

I’m 29, and I’d say 25-30. However, my ex was about 40 and she was still really cute (she was about 5’4” and 115 lbs). I thought she was in her early to mid 30s when I met her. But, I feel like most people past their mid 30s look like shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/23 12:24 AM

Sure, but I’d rather do that in a group than 1:1 unless we’ve known each other for a long time. Also a solid plus if she has cute friends that she’s down to set me up with

Women are just as focused on looks as dudes are. They just hide it a lot better. Women generally don’t like short dudes just as men avoid fat women
