I think I clearly stated that I was against the incitement of violence against others who are peacefully demonstrating. If not, that's my bad, but I thought that was clear enough. You're making my argument about something much greater than it is. The scope of everything I have said in this thread strictly pertains to the legality of the actions of these groups in public demonstrations. Furthermore, if the city or town these events are happening in have given a permit to a group to hold a rally or demonstration it is absolutely no right of antifa or any other group to violently disrupt that demonstration, period. My point isn't that once violence breaks out it's a free-for-all but it isn't unreasonable to think that in the melee this guy thought she was attacking someone (and she may well have been), nor is it unreasonable to think that he had no idea she was a girl.

We may not know right now, but I'd be willing to bet we can make an educated guess on who instigated this little incident based on history. These antifa kids are always out starting violent trouble at otherwise peaceful right-wing protests and that's why their cause will never rise. They only add fuel to the flames of the right. You're allowed to believe or think or promote whatever you want, frankly. Whether or not people agree with you, you should be free to do so without threat of violence against you (EDIT: SO LONG AS YOU YOURSELF ARE NOT INCITING VIOLENCE.) Violence is the last act of a desperate person or ideology with no valid points left to make. Antifa goes out with the explicit goal of inciting violence 9 times out of 10.
