2	Just failed my first cold approach and I feel great I have a question about this - is being friendly worth it, or does it create the wrong impression? i.e. If I say, " hi there, just wanted to say you've got a nice tattoo. Where did you get it?' leading into "I'd love to hear more about your tattoo, want to grab a drink sometime?" Is that good, or does it give off interview vibes? 7	Just failed my first cold approach and I feel great What openers do you use instead of rushing in with "You're cute, number please?". I struggle with openers because I don't want to invest too much time into building a conversation by talking about the weather etc - because I end up creating the impression of a friendly/chatty stranger, and I don't want to waste too much time beating around the bush.
