I don't understand people's hate for this board. At best they act as if it's a bunch of cheesy pick-up lines and criticise it on not being genuine (how important are pick-up lines to this board? Not very), and at worst they act as if it's shadowy people sharing secret jedi-mind tricks to trick people into having sex with you and criticise it on not being moral. What I see is a general model of social competence focused on sexual interactions and relationships but including other social relations…

EDIT: I mean in the strictest sense of cold approach and f-closing the guy you see. General confidence and body language stuff works on everyone, that is true. And that's a major part of all this; perhaps even the most important part. Not specific things about approaching, but making yourself mentally (and hopefully physically; go to the gym!) better and more appealing to everyone.

People cross the line when they put down women who aren't looking for casual sex or when they feel entitled to sex. I absolutely agree with these things. Just as there's nothing wrong with wanting casual sex, there's nothing wrong with not wanting it.

It's funny because you say that reading men talk about casual sex only reinforces the feeling that men just want sex, but one could say that reading you talk negatively about that only reinforces the feeling that women just want relationships. I have seen misogynistic stuff from time to time on here, but I don't see a problem with or anything misogynistic about casual sex. The idea should be to find someone you want and who wants you, and who wants the same thing as you (casual sex, relationship…

shady sentence structure that suggests 99% of men are rapists What you quoted said "99% of rapists are men", not that "99% of men are rapists".

Yes, straight women too. Me not specifically mentioning them wasn't intended as a slight against straight women. I was interested in his views on homosexuality; I mentioned straight men because they have the same attraction to women that lesbians have, and I mentioned gay men because they share homosexuality with gay women (and I wondered if he viewed gay men differently from gay women).

I'm well aware of the insanity of radical feminists. But what are you saying? That there is something inherently special about gay women that makes them hate the sex that they're not attracted to?

What do you mean by that? Is it something more than the "eww, naked men, I like naked women!" that straight guys also have? (and that would be the opposite of what gay guys have)

While there's definitely a problem with someone assuming that the woman deserves the kids, what's the problem with a woman dating only women? Many women date only men, and many men date only women, or only men.

You're also the one who said the "a good key unlocks many locks, but a bad lock is unlocked by many keys". How is that analogy valid or applicable at all? How does it make sense? Is there anything inherent about a man and a woman having sex that means that the man has won and the woman has lost? The idea that if a woman has a lot of sex she can be a slut but if a man does too then he's a stud is a sexist one. Yes, feminists will often take this and run with it as evidence of women being wronged/…

often people will think and speak in terms of straight marriage and GAY marriage (two men), but you'll hardly ever find someone referring to it in the context of two women marrying. for some reason, when it's two women, people just...tune out. People tend to take the word "gay" to mean "homosexual", whether it's man/man or woman/woman, unless it's specifically contrasted with lesbian ("woman/woman homosexual"), in which case "gay" will mean "man/man homosexual". Take from that what you want (the…

Not really. You said that masturbation is typically an anti-social thing, and I mentioned the distinction between not social and anti-social. I'd say that masturbation is typically a non-social thing. It's possible for it to be anti-social, like in the example I mentioned, but I don't think that's the majority of masturbation that occurs.

Though you're certainly right in calling it anti-social if it becomes compulsive and affects someone's social life (for example, if you stay at home and masturbate instead of going out with friends or making friends), which certainly can happen.

Not social vs anti-social

Hah, the exact opposite is true for me. The part related to men seducing women (because there are other parts based on "inner game" and such, applicable to both sexes), is based on the idea that women shouldn't be listened to for advice on how to seduce women. So logically, the same applies the other way; you wouldn't listen to advice on how to seduce men from a man.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
