I've gotten into arguments on this subreddit about this before. People seem to think that this is just a place to let off steam about woman, and of course when we are angry we generalize. That is exactly the thing we don't need here.

Our behavior here is essentially our PR. If we are welcoming, mature, and calm about things then obviously our rep will reflect that more than what anybody else says. However, if we are perceived as woman haters, and seem to act on it (even if it is not intentional) then obviously our rep will reflect that as well.

every time I feel myself about to vomit a torrent of words about what I think I should believe, I'll be stopping myself. Off topic, but I regret trying to visualize that. But in all honesty, good for you! Critical thought is the one thing that propels society foreword and you are taking part in it.

Making insults isn't going to get anybody anywhere. I never said that feminism is not a product of woman, of course it is. All I was saying is that the thought that all woman are feminist, and even all feminist hate men isn't going to achieve anything but making you, and the MR movement in general looking like a bunch of woman haters. How we conduct ourselves can and will make all the difference on how people perceive us, and in a social movement that can at times be so controversial as this, pu…

*feminist FTFY Last thing we need to be doing is generalizing an entire demographic over the actions of a powerful minority.

Creepshots was a subreddit that posted photos of woman in public, sometimes even upskirts or of butts. Doxxing is posting personal information of another redditor online.

This is my personal issue with feminism. If I were to say that the MRM supports male power, I'd bet that even the MRM community itself would flip it's shit. I've seen, however, many feminist talk about female power. This is the issue though, any 'power' on either side is just bigotry. And the reason it's bigotry is because it comes across as the idea that it's a contest, to see what gender can be superior over each other. Both sides claim they want equal rights, but if they are competing, how ca…

Hey, first of all thank's for not being aggressive about the issue like many are, and taking the time to ask. At a glance, some of the issues that we address include: False rape accusations Child Custody inequality Child support inequality Masculinity gender roles The fact that men get raped too, often by woman (although not always) Domestic assault claims, both when the male is the victim, but also when male is accused but innocent and ends up loosing his entire life. House, property, job, repu…

I think it is dependent, I would even fund a feminist group if it were focused or biased in for example Iran, or Afghanistan or whatnot, where there is true oppression. Europe, North America, and other well developed countries tend to be different though, while there are still some issues put up with simply because a person is a woman, the feminist movement has been so successful that there is no real oppression left. And the tides are becoming evermore reversed.

I tried to use this argument once, the response was me getting yelled at that I'm calling 'all woman psychopaths' and getting kicked out of where I was.

The entire idea here is to spread the movement. If people just think that we are a bunch of sexist scum we will never achieve the results that we want.

I recently thought of another argument biased on that, but instead of swapping genders, I say this: You have three groups, Group A, Group B, and Group C. Group A and B normally get along, but sometimes there are violent incidents between the groups. Groups C job is to punish anybody who commits an act of violence against the other group. This month, group A committed 100 acts of violence against group B. They all went to jail. Group B committed 10 acts of violence against group A. But group C lo…

I'd call myself a Democratic Socialist. Basically here in Canada the New Democratic Party. More left winged than the Democrats in the US...way more left winged.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
