The way I interpreted the quote made me think that he's talking about something similar with comparing an internal motivation to get good at something versus doing it just because you like money. Take programming for example. Without a strong internal motivation that pushes you to grow your skills you'll just end up doing point number 2 and do just enough for the money before calling it a day. The guy with love for programming out of pure enjoyment will drive himself to learn new technologies mo…

When you do, your work will far exceed what other people are painstakingly producing. Your work will be cleaner, clearer, and more powerful because you’ll be more evolved as a person. Most people you’re “competing” against are an inner mess. A-fucking-men. I used to think that "my life will start getting better as soon as the salaries start rolling in" in the same manner I used to think that "my life will start getting better as soon as I find a sexual partner". Nothing external will fix your sh…

Chances are, you just know that you, as a low value male, cannot get away with asshole behavior, so you are decrying it for everyone else. Hit the nail on the head. I vaguely remember an experiment or documentary that pointed out how people respond differently to your requests solely by your appearance. Even store clerks will treat you like a boy/child if you're skinny and excude supplicate/submissive traits. Being physically fit and assertive go hand in hand otherwise you're perceived as a tryh…

Honestly, I feel like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy would help you unfuck those beliefs that you hold about yourself. A book I recommend is "Your own worst enemy" but that's more "underachiever/unmotivated" oriented than social anxiety. I think that "Mind over mood" will help you. And do get professional help.

I always enjoy reading posts of people who share my own conclusions, and you're pretty damn well spot on to everything. But just like you added your cents in my thoughts I want to add my 2 cents on one thing: Consumerism is a soul-less Frame, because it has no deep meaning behind it. It’s empty. Get the latest gadget, buy the latest new car, collect more clothes and shoes and baseball cards and watches… And yet it is still a stronger Frame than many people’s internal Frame, which is quite sad. T…

Simultaneously, I recommend the fake-it-til-you-make-it approach with respect to frame, which often involves doing extremely difficult and unnatural things like not reacting when you want to get upset, temporarily punishing a female with your absence instead of sticking around because you want to get your dick wet, etc. I feel like we should stop calling it as "fake it until you make it" because the word "fake" implies that you're pretending that you have a fully functional Frame. I suggest the …

My pet theory is that living with a woman exposes you to all the female hormones and lowers your T. A supplement to this is growing up in a family without a properly functional masculine figure with the mother only knowing how to raise a girl. Beating and scolding a boy up for being a boy works wonders in adapting his behavior and as a result his biological structure.

A small walk through the "IRL" section on Twitch and you'll see that women are the vast majority of streamers, dressed in a hot way and talking about whatever. Queue the horde of virgins throwing their wallets at the screen because she's "next door girl hot". I recall one of them "accidentally" flashing her pussy on camera and she got 1 week ban from Twitch, which is basically a slap on the hand. Try flipping genders on that event to get a taste of "equal treatment". Most beta/whiteknights nowad…

Stoics used to have the goal of leading a "virtuous life" for a reason, and that encapsulated basically everything under their philosophy. So they pretty much persuaded themselves to do negative visualization, hold frame and be better than the others because unlike everyone else, "they know that virtue is the sole good". Nobody is an exception to the rule. People don't just get up at 6 a.m. workout study and improve themselves without feeling like they're working towards a "tag" they feel proud …

It's exactly like that. They see that doing X results in Y with person Z and whenever they need Y and Z is around they'll just spam X. It's like, imagine you have a boxing match and you realize that your opponent can't block right hooks for shit. You're gonna use that to your advantage, right? Same goes with women. If it brings the desired results they're gonna use it, they'll make cute eyes and throw a smile to make you walk a mile to buy her a sandwich. And the best part is, their hamster will…
