Because if he doesn't pay for the child then the state has to pay for it and fuck that noise. The child comes before both parents and the child's rights trumps the parent's rights in all cases. The court sees it as the child needs to be supported regardless and the parents situation is not important or relevant to the matter in any form.

That's not even much though. By the time we were 15, one of my friends was selling 1-2 pounds of marijuana every month, another one of my friends had a gun to his head and was robbed for an 8 ball of coke. We had done acid, snorted coke, smoked weed and joyrided cars. We had participated in gangbangs also known as "running a train." One of our friends was murdered for a dimebag of weed, etc. The list goes on and on. Illinois is a very shitty place to live.

I live in Illinois and this state is a joke. I know a guy who has to pay $300 a week in child support. I mean.. what kind of child needs $1200 a month in support. Bullshit.
