I've learned that you can't control other people, just how you react to them. Generally, the best approach is to either agree and amplify, "yeah, I'm a total wuss, you're right", or simply ignore them. Apathy is more impactful than showing you even care.

I have an 07 GMC Sierra. Solid runner, minimal upkeep. New transmission at 130k, but... I like the Japanese options as well. Friend works for a Chevy dealership and owns several 70s Toyota vehicles. He says avoid the new GM and Toyota vehicles.

Kudos. You've found the path. I'm still learning (aren't we all), but this path has let me see women for what they are. Some are useful, some are not. Lucky for me, now, I can see which are which. I have dodged several bullets lately, where friends have not, and I watch them get dragged down by the women I avoided due to the red flags. This sub would have been amazing to me 20 years ago, but I'm learning it now, and for that, I relish most every post.
