I went down that path that you stated, however, in the last 5 years I have been able to turn things around. I am enjoying great income and I am investing in the stock market with yearly returns of about 30%. Money is a subject that can be studied. The vast majority of people only think of money when they can't afford things. Most of them avoid discussing it because of the pain that they experience in relation to the lack of money. You - young Padawan, must not be like the majority when it comes …

A couple of years ago I was talking with a woman over an extended period of time, but we never dated. She lived far away and was planning to come and visit me for a weekend of sex. She was willing to do the long distance relationship thing - I wasn’t. A few weeks before she was supposed to come she started talking about how I don’t prioritize her because I spend too much time working on my business. She wanted me to text her throughout the day and call her every night. That’s when I told her tha…

Thanks for the info. I've been researching this for months and did go to a local store that builds gaming PCs. It would have cost less, but I am attracted to the Area 51 tower and the thing that did it for me was that there was a $650 discount. Plus, their in-home warranty service is a nice touch. I could replace the parts myself, but by buying from Dell, the whole computer has a warranty vs having to deal with different parts companies if something goes wrong.

Yeah, I know the system is overkill, but I figured, fuck it. I tend to overkill when I get things. I prefer that over the concern of not having enough.

Thanks! I'm thinking of getting some racing games and possibly strategy and war-related games. I'm not sure what my interests are yet. I feel that now that I won't be limited because of hardware, I can try out a whole bunch. Any recommendations?

Lol, yeah, games have come a long way. To get a taste for gaming I bought some strategy games for my current set up like Civilization V and Age of Mythology. I also bought Middle-earth Shadow or Mordor. I also just downloaded World of Warships and Armored Warfare since they are free. I really like these two. I'm excited about trying some racing games to test on the three monitors! I'm considering getting a steering wheel. I'm not sure what games I will like most yet, but so far I do like the str…

Some people have a hard head and can't keep their opinions to themselves. These are people who refuse to look at their own issues and would rather focus on others. Rather than asking if you are happy, they assume something is wrong.

Before he had met her I had suggested it that he consider a surrogate. I was still married at the time and I thought it was a bad idea then to get married just to have kids. He couldn't see past the traditional family structure. He's older than I am, in his 50s now so the programming of a traditional family is deeply embedded.

He didn't respond and it got a little quiet for a few seconds. I could tell in his eyes that he knew I was right. I changed subject.

Going to the gym is not about women or others, it's about you. It's about challenging and taking care of yourself. Health is key to living a full life. With the knowledge of MGTOW, you are free to do what you want and enjoying the vehicle that is your body is important to living a joyful life.

I'm in my 40s and went through the brainwashing of what society expected of me. I believed it, I lived it. Got married, had kids. I did what a man was supposed to do. Take care of his wife and kids. Work hard to put food on the table. I worked hours upon hours and for what? My kids, of course, are worth it. However, to be enslaved and stuck in a relationship that caused me more harm than anything else is not a way to live. OP, I am glad that you have become aware. If I could go back in time I wo…

Absolutely! I was MGTOW for 2 years without assigning a name to it. When I came across the MGTOW website I was floored that there were men that felt the same way as I did. I also have a few friends who are MGTOW and don't know it. I haven't shared the concept to them since they are on the right track.

Debt will always keep you enslaved. I worked on changing my perception on consumer goods. Rather than looking for sales on "stuff", I look for sales in the stock market and other investment opportunities. Basically, the high I get is not by acquiring things that don't bring back a financial return, it is from acquiring investments that work for me. This change in perception has helped me keep my costs low and out of debt.

Though the income has grown I keep my costs in check. We have a tendency to spend more when we make more and this the trap. I want to be free from the daily grind so investing both in the business and personal investments should help with long term stability. Since the bankruptcy I only buy things when I have the cash for it.

1) She was not perfect but we shared many similar interests. 2) 7 years into the marriage. I guess the "7 year itch" was true for me. I had begun getting tired of having to work for her dreams. She had dreams and I had to pay for them. 3) She was attractive and well shaped. I'm picky and I found her highly attractive when we met. Over the course of our marriage she gained over 150 lbs. The weight became unattractive to me, but it wasn't that that caused me to leave. It was the feeling of being u…

I used to love going to the movies, especially by myself in the afternoon. It would happen occasionally that I would be the only one in the theatre and it was awesome! Me, the movie, and no one else in the giant sized living room. It's about two years now that I haven't gone to the cinema except when the kids want to watch a movie. I cringe, but I do it for them. Almost every single movie seems to have this feminist, SJW bullshit. It's terrible! I've started watching old Westerns. I figure, if I…

I agree with you! My friends have always been males and whenever there has been a woman in my life, it was either someone I was dating or unfortunately got married to. I never believed even from when I was young that I could have been friends with women. Over a year ago I met a woman who was married. I never chased her romantically because I will not fuck a married woman. If a married woman wants to be a douchebag, she can do it with someone else. We developed a friendship over the months. She's…

"Married men make about $16,000 more than their single peers with otherwise similar backgrounds." They state that married men make $16k more per year, but they don't state that most of a married man's income goes towards supporting his wife and family. Whereas a single man gets to keep all of his money.

You know who DON'T want to be a success? Frightened and Confused people. There are people who talk about being successful and then there are the ones who are. For many it's not confusion that leads them to being successful, it's clarity. This world is made up of many types of people. The same goes for MGTOW. If a man chooses to be successful, chances are that he seeks to be challenged in the arena he has chosen - and wants to win. Let me ask you. Do you play video games or any type of sport? Do …

People will criticize you no matter. What I have noticed is that people work hard at being average so that they get the minimal amount of criticism. If you're like everyone else, why would they criticize you? If you have something on your mind - do it! I work long days because I like it. I don't find anything wrong with working long hours because I feel that the return is really good. If you feel the same way, then work hard, save and invest your money until your money starts working for you. No…

The problem with home ownership is that people consider this an investment, when it's not. The only time it would be an investment is if you buy a revenue generating building, live in it and profit from the other rents or buy and flip houses. Single dwelling homes are a liability. They cost you money and even if the value of the home goes up, you still have to consider what it cost you in property taxes, maintenance and the furnitue you spent to match the home. Often, the appreciation in the val…

Good job in cancelling! Don't beat yourself up too much. We're human and the greatest gift you can give yourself is self-forgiveness. I had a similar situation happen to me where I slowly let my guard down. As I let more of my guard down she started trusting me more. That's when her true nature came out. AWALT. It is nearly 6 years that I have been divorced. In the initial stages of my separation I used to to think about all of the money, time and energy I spent trying to make her life better while at the same time my life was deteriorating. Today, I no longer think about it. It is a lesson learned. Over the course of the marriage, my finances were ruined because she insisted on being a stay at home mom while I was trying to build a new business. If she would have worked, things would have been differe…

I have been keeping a journal for years. I use Word and keep it locked up on my PC. There is power in journaling. Ideas and thoughts tend to bounce around in your head. Sometimes some of these thoughts are deep and you want to keep to yourself. Journaling allows you to transfer those those thoughts to a document, freeing your mind for something else. I believe, and this is only my theory, that when you write something down, your mind recognizes the fact that the idea or thought has been placed s…

She says she found him attractive and agreed to go to his room. "Up to a point I consented," Paquet said. "But a kiss isn't a contract. An embrace isn't a contract." When Radio-Canada journalist Anne-Marie Dussault asked Paquet if she said "no," Paquet replied, "I never said 'yes.'" This is scary. A man kisses a woman, she kisses back, they continue, she never says anything and this is considered sexual assault because she never said yes. And now a man's career and reputation has been ruined.

I have been self-employed for nearly 20 years now and I encourage my brethren to work towards self-employment or starting their own business. Politics and misandry have crept into the corporate world and it is obvious that things are stacked up against men. I left my job nearly 20 years ago to start something for myself. It's been a long and hard road, but let me tell you, I would rather deal with the challenges of being self-employed than deal with the bullshit of working for someone else.

I have been celibate for almost three years now. I didn't know what MGTOW was until late last year. The reason I chose to be celibate was because it dawned on me how much time, effort, energy and money goes into getting laid. Of course, there are always the pros, but I'm concerned about STDs, plus for me it wasn't only about getting laid, it was the seduction, the chase. In January of 2014 I was seeing this woman and it was fine for a few weeks. She was divorced and hadn't had sex in a long time…

One of the most important things to do when it comes to lifting weights is to continuously educate yourself. Actually, this is true for everything in your life. The mistake most people make when it comes to progress is that they rely on the information they currently have. What they need is new information so that they can get different results. That being said... Eating properly is key to your progress. Food is about 70 - 80% of your results. You can lift all you want, but if you're not taking …

Thank you. Being an asshole is not part of my genes and I don't plan on learning about how to be one. The way I see it, my financial success impacts me directly, of course, and the people that I love -primarily my parents and kids. As my wealth increases I plan on helping people that are in need. People who have a hard time getting food is a biggie for me. This is an area where I plan on contributing a lot. Also, men who need help getting their finances in shape. I do miss it. However, I want to protect myself financially. I'm 43 now and not getting any younger. My main focus is setting myself up so that I can protect myself as a I age. Pussy is a huge expense, and a drain on the brain. When I weigh my options, pussy or financial security, the latter always trumps pussy. I don't see it any other way. I can't do both, so I choose the best foreseeable outcome.

What I have learned is that we have a tendency to prioritize one area above others. Chasing pussy takes up a lot of time, money, energy and most importantly, your headspace. If you're thinking about women most of time, you're not thinking about other things. Disengaging from the chase has allowed me to focus on building my business and being healthy/fit.

The definition of success is subjective. Each individual has their own definition, and you need yours. For myself, my goal is to continuously improve myself in areas that are most important to me. Personal finance and health. Those are broad terms, but I dedicate my time to further defining those areas. Not seeking women opens up a big void in one's life. It's important to seek to fill that void with constructive projects. One exercise that you can perform is writing. Write down what you think, …

When I was your age I felt the same way. My friend and I were contemplating joining the Army. I was jobless and he couldn't stand where he worked. I told him that if I didn't find a job within a month, we would join. Within 3 weeks I found a job. He joined the Army. Over 20 years later, I still regret not joining. I'm from Canada too. Welcome! Similar story with me in regards to marriage. After I divorced I dated for a couple of years and with every woman, I saw the same manipulative traits. In 2013 I decided to avoid women, but didn't know what MGTOW was until last year. I had subscribed to that philosophy when I first got married. I was married for 12 years. The first 3 years of marriage I had pretty much lost most of my friends since I had stopped going out to meet them. As the years went by, still subscribing to that philosophy I put myself into massive debt so that she could be a "homemaker". She was happy, I was miserable. The worst part of her being home was that she was a terrible homemaker. Our home was a mess. With every passing year, I was "waking up" …

First off, 40 is not old. I am 43, have been divorced for 5 years and life has never been better. I am fitter and wealthier now than I have ever been. We didn't own a house, but she had $20,000 in savings which I left her and all the furniture. I have two kids.
