I really like this idea! I use a similar method: I'll think of myself as old. Thinking that those 5 mins I could have used talking to a cute girl, which later could lead to something serious shouldn't have been wasted thinking about approaching her and then dropping the thought and taking a sip of my drink.

Stop thinking that drugs or drinking with helping showing your true intentions and your true self, and go learn about yourself. Read Mark Mansons "Models" and learn about neediness. That should clear it all off, unless you really are quite needy, then you need to work on it. Nothing can help you get ladies but fixing your inner self. Not Weed. Not beer. Not MDMA. I don't think you should have the mentality of "All the girls have boyfriends". Some beginners might think they should not pay as much interest into conversations with the girl. I have to say that the only real big reason for her to be hanging over you, was because she liked you. If she wasn't that interested in you, then you surely wouldn't have had the same result.

I've tried meditating the last three days, and everytime i do it, i fall asleep. I try breathing exercises by taking my breath on 5 secs, holding it for 5 secs and then releasing my air out of my lungs for 5 secs. But i can always sense my brain is thinking of something. It's not going crazy or flowing like a river, like it's used to, but still i can't get my mind cleared.

I find this as a problem for me too. I can easily make a conversation with girls, make them laugh, keep kino going all time but when they compliment me i freeze and don't know what to say.
