I don't think living as the Russians do is the path to a happy society. Quality of life outweighs gross quantity, living our lives for the good of the state is the Russian way. Personal freedom is the american way. Their patriotism is mandated in a way ours isn't. At least that's how I see it. We love our nation because we love our freedom. That sort of love shouldn't be discounted in favor of a "standard issue" sort of man. But hey I'm just some dickhead on the internet

Using your logic, being gay is bad too man. Life isn't one big war of attrition to further the country we're born to. We in the modern age have a responsibility to ourselves to pursue our own happiness. It goes deeper than the good of the collective.

Strict monogamy for a couple that has decided on strict monagamy. If the open relationship thing is consensual on both their parts, no harm no foul. Cheating is fucked no matter what. If all parties are aware and OK, what's the harm? There is no "proper" model for a civilized relationship. Too complicated these days

Natural all the way for me. Cosmetic surgery in general seems to be a turn off for me personally.

A plague on both your houses Yeah no, you're not a bad person. We're all good people trying to do the right thing, in our own eyes. I feel like somewhere in Hillary's bleak, cold, robot snake heart, she wants to do the right thing. And somewhere in Trump's loud, ignorant, obnoxious, bravado is a good man trying to protect people.

Law of averages. Same law that makes me dislike the "AWALT"

I've noticed several posts on trp talking about their controlling mothers, and I feel like I've noticed a similarity between them and girls with daddy issues. Where girls with daddy issues need that approval of a man, these guys need to feel control over a woman

Fiction mirrors real life, never should you switch those two. Never.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
