Yup, this exactly. These are all pretty much the usual sticking points I deal with as well with club/festival game...

You yourself literally admitted you didn’t even read op’s post all the way through yet you tried giving him advice. I think that’s the definition of an unproductive comment...

“mistery method” “30 second rule” ... yea you’re real tuned into the mechanics of the mm and why and why they don’t work... smh

Yea I know, but that’s just a function of me being nervous in the interaction so I just fall back to those generic questions. Hoping to focus more on making statements about her soon enough once most of the anxiety of being in set subsides and I can focus on actual “game”

Yea in theory I already know that. I should emphasize that the only reason I went for the close so soon in the set is because my anxiety gets the best of me and I blank out so blurting out “you think I could get your number” is just my reaction to the nervousness and awkwardness I’m feeling in the set to try and eject. That’s why I’m primarily just focusing on the approach in the first place, anything else after that is just a bonus

Maybe, maybe not. She seemed like she would’ve been open to continuing the interaction but honestly that was as far as I could keep it going before my anxiety got the best of me...

Nah I’m good, the point of these interactions is to get past my approach anxiety. I’m not really expecting much out of these, I actually pretty much know everything I do “wrong” in the sets after reflecting and writing out my field reports

The Way Of The Superieor Man by David Deida is along this same vein, and it's a great book, highly recommended.

Since you've had all this experience with pretty much every dating app, which one would you say is the best?

Wow really? I've never actually seen a guy doing daygame in real life almost feels like it exists solely on the internet sometimes. Maybe I don't go out enough or go to the right places, I would've assumed living in LA I'd have seen guys day gaming by now...

How'd you meet your daygame wings/mentors?

Instead of looking towards a dating coach why don't you look towards your own brother maybe? I mean he obviously had no problem with women if he's married now and I'm sure if he asked you to be his best man that's means you're both close enough for you to confide in him this issue in your life. You said you never received any pressure from your family but I'm sure he must've noticed over the years that there was at least something going on with you and your dating life (or lack thereof). I'm sur…

You still technically approach though when you accept her invite to dance. I know guys who are so scared and fearful of the approach or interacting with women that they'll purposely lose themselves in "self-amusing" or "having fun" and sure the girl might notice them but if they're to scared to act on that interest thats all in vain.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
