Women who choose the stripper path tend to not have a strong sense of financial literacy. Once they make money by looking good, they will feed the hole by getting more expensive designer clothes and top brand cosmetics to get even more attention/cash flow and compensate with their aging. All women want to live that "queen" lifestyle without much thought on future costs

Dawkins considered himself a "cultural christian", and I'm pretty sure Harris, Dennett, Hitchens would rather enjoy some of the values & ethics instilled by Western Christianity than say Islam

Because the headlines make it sound she got away scot-free. She was found guilty of abusing a corpse since another redditor here said Defence argued that the baby was a stillborn. One year in prison though

That's speculating, not investing.

We could say the same about the guy that brought a cake to his divorce that says "problem solved" to his Snapchat that gets reposted here every now and then. All this psycho-analysing isn't productive. Not to feminists calling us incels, neither to us GOW

Because they are projecting their insecurities onto her. There's alot of good posts on this subreddit, and some okay ones. But this is some random woman bashing that gives some random outsider a nice hanging cherry for them to pick and call us upset incels for having less of a pool of woman to bang.

Investing shouldn't be seen as a vehicle to get rich in a few years. It should be used to safeguard your retirement or for future economic downturns. At the very least, it should be seen as a tool keeping you from inflating your discretionary spending during times of excess capital gains and other personal finance basics. Good on you if your trading gave plentiful yield, but if investing was easy, everyone would be doing it. For every day-trader posting nice green numbers on social media, there …

If it's not in the book, it's not relevant to the book report. Pretty simple really. (We make a lot of conjectures on a picture with a caption in in the internet.)

You can say that about any subject then. Replace memorizing "formulas" with bolded vocabulary terms and their corresponding definitions relevant to that subject

What's the big deal of showing the work though? Let's say the math test was multiple choice and for some students they randomly guessed on a significant portion of the test and they give a sigh of relief when they received a high mark. The solution was correct, but understanding has not been met. Even if the test was not multiple choice, who can say the student adjacent to you didn't just peep the answer? It's easier to cheat an answer off than to be able cheat the math operations performed to g…

IIRC, Schopenhauer pushed a woman down a flight of stairs because she was being noisy. Schopenhauer had to pay for her injuries until she passed.

I'm not following the idea of the atomistic individual to the fulfillment of only the desires (or Betas). Nietzsche's argument against Soul atomism was, in context, to show various philosophers how misguided their views and rationality was, being grounded on their so called drive to truth. I'm not aware of this context being extended to the application of the individual to society. I feel like you are saying that drives can be unfulfilled (or unactivated) in response to the priority of desires. …

Not much of a Nietzschean scholar but I have read primary and secondary works on the material. The title says that Nietzsche rejected "Soul Atomism" (which is true) but your post says little, if any, of it. To Nietzsche, our "souls" are a collection of drives (competing drives for the lower rank men, unified drives otherwise), but he did not contrast this with desires. Desires (or even our thoughts) are not efficacious. They do not contribute causually to the actions we end up making. Nietzsche …
