If you are a true gentleman (and I say that unironically) you would give up your seat for a woman. It’s a completely different story if the woman asks you to stand. Everyone should be treated the same in the eyes of the law, but don’t get all rad-fem on us. You can’t deny that men and women are fundamentally different and should have different cultural norms associated with them. Just because the justice system should treat them the same doesn’t mean that “gender shouldn’t matter”. Maybe that’s not what you’re saying, but people in this sub always make the gender-abolitionist argument, and that line of thinking just goes way too far.

There are studies that prove this. Women were asked to rank men based on their PHYSICAL appearance from some photos. When women were shown the photos with bios attached indicating high-paying jobs, money, and status, all of a sudden women rated the men more PHYSICALLY attractive on average.
