Try reposting this question over at /r/sex. I think you'll get a lot more useful responses over there than you'll get in seddit.

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/15/health/nearly-1-in-5-women-in-us-survey-report-sexual-assault.html Different surveys and studies get different numbers, but the common theme suggests that the actual number is between 20% and 25% of women who are victims of sexual assault at some point in their lives. Not that this is a good conversation topic. You really shouldn't be talking about this kind of stuff with someone unless they already trust you enough to broach the subject themselves.

Blushing in and of itself isn't that bad. This right here is the big lesson. As some others have pointed out, as long as you don't get stressed out about the blushing itself, it actually could serve you as a handy way of declaring interest without having to do so explicitly. And if anyone points out that you're blushing, just respond with something like, "I was just picturing everyone in the room naked, and (pause for effect) I saw boobies."

Agreed. This community has a hard enough time dealing with stereotypes of misogyny and sexism. Give value, don't take it away.

Alternatively, you can play it off like it's not an important question. Possible responses off the top of my head: My mama told me I was born to kill rock and roll, and fuck all the sexy people Intentions? [laugh] Please. (the Barney Stinson) I don't plan that far in advance. I want to win a wet t-shirt contest Defeat the dark lord Sauron Conquer Europe and/or win a land war in Asia (Apologies if this isn't useful, I'm partially using this as a warmup exercise for social activities later tonight…

There seriously needs to be a name for this fallacy.

You're bang on the money with the friends. Always talk to their friends! If you be nice to them and get a good rapport going, they will actively help you get lucky, and they're usually really fucking good at it.

Improv theater and comedy training is a great conversational tool to have. Know why? Because you're not being taught to be funny. You're being taught to keep the action moving. As long as there is a clear flow of action and motivation, everything else will come naturally. Remember how every seduction post about conversation tells you to keep your current objective in mind? Same thing - it's a dramatic tool (hugely developed by Stanislavsky, for those interested) used to keep your actions fresh a…

While to an outsider it might seem more intimate, to the chick's subconsciousness those leg areas are much more intimate places to be touched than her hands. Everyone touches hands with handshakes, giving something to someone else, etc. Touching someone's legs is usually something reserved for a more sexual encounter, and doing so will put them in that frame of mind.

I personally wear it more out of necessity - it's the only seodorant stocked by the small convenience store right by my campus. I do think the scent is a bit bland but the ladies love it, and I have not yet met anyone that can identify the scent until they ask. Sometimes they still can't - I often don't tell them what it is.

There are tangible benefits to being clean-shaven. Trust me when I say that any sort of face-to-face contact with stubble is no fun at all.

I know a few people like you. They have never worn deodorant, and for the most part it seems to work out fine. One of them is one of my best friends ever, and it's not generally an issue. However. We can tell. While it certainly doesn't preclude us from being good friends with her, the natural body odor is certainly noticeable and ultimately off-putting to close or intimate interactions with her. You've been fine so far, but I'm guessing that you probably haven't been seriously working on seduci…
