I’m a woman and I’m telling you please get out of this abusive relationship ASAP. Press charges against her for the damage she caused. You deserve better than this; you are worthy, you are a human being.

This is absolutely true. I’m a woman and I don’t watch women’s sports. I watch men’s sports. I’m part of the “problem” but I agree with this news anchor. Absolutely no reason to cancel this dude for reporting facts.

I’m a woman too and was auto banned from some subs. I feel the same way you do about being a guest in here. I like to be educated on men’s rights so I can be conscious of them in the world and workplace. Good riddance to the subs that auto banned me, I’d rather be here anyway.

I’m a woman commenting this: There’s a few things that really annoy me here…. We can’t have it both ways. We can’t say that “we’re more mature than men at insert age here” and expect young women not to want to date older men. We’re trained from a young age to want older men because we’re so much more mature (this is absolutely not always true, it’s weird that society has decided it’s a blanket rule). at 21 you’re more than a whole ass adult. This woman is rich and has her own means. It’s not lik…

This actually made me laugh out loud because the easiest argument to prove her wrong is women working together in an office. Every office environment I’ve worked in women are so competitive with each other. I’ve even tried to be inclusive with other women, but they’re so suspicious that I have ill intentions that it’s not even worth trying most of the time. It’s like high school all over again. This weird utopia your sister thinks would exist is complete fiction.

Completely agree that this is why men do not speak of their abuse; it’s minimized until it’s not valid. I had a friend tell me his childhood babysitter sexually abused him but begged me not to tell his brother because his brother loved that babysitter when they were kids. But what if his brother went through the same thing?! That type of fear is not ok to teach our boys and men. I’m particularly bothered by the word victim showing up in any way to describe Amber Heard’s completely fabricated “ex…

I am so sorry. If you need someone to talk to please feel free to reach out. I promise I will be happy to hear you as a woman who very much believes in men’s rights. I have several male friends who have been sexually assaulted and at times it’s helped them to speak with a woman that believes them. Your experience matters, your feelings about it matter. Have you sought any counseling yet? Do you need resources for that?

Gross and totally unethical. Thanks for explaining! My ignorance on that case is 100% because I didn’t follow it as closely. This one I’m pretty invested in.

Some of us think this shit Amber is pulling is fucking disgusting. Manipulative women like Amber Heard and Elizabeth Holmes (business manipulation and employee abuse) make it very difficult for those of us who fight for men’s rights to be trusted. Women who fight for men’s rights truly hate women like this.

What scares me is the people she’s still somehow bewitching. Her witnesses haven’t helped her much, but she still seems to have some sort of power over people; leading them on to think she has romantic interest in them.

As a woman who has a history of being abused, Amber Heard is the worst of the worst human beings. I live in the general area of where the trial is taking place and it’s refreshing to see that locally Johnny is being supported. I’ve been watching and listening to the trial and cannot even comprehend how he lost overseas. Camille Vasquez is a fucking champ and I’m so glad she’s kicking the legal shit out of Amber Heard and Elaine Bredehoft.

It sucks pretty hard that this is what it came to. That movement tried so hard to convince us women that its purpose was to educate the world on the realities of normalized sexual abuse. I’ve made this point before, but… what about sexually abused men? Even if it’s industry specific and you look at the entertainment industry it’s an open secret that men are abused too. They totally lost me when sexual abuse and/or coercion for both sexes wasn’t recognized. That was deeply upsetting as a female s…

I’ve said this before, but I joined because I’m interested in and want to be involved in men’s rights. The rape sub banned me permanently for participating in this one. Apparently I’m not allowed to care about men’s rights and still need occasional support as a sexual assault and rape survivor. It also tells me that they don’t think men can be raped which is really disgusting.

I think it’s just people being people, you know? I prefer to have male friends but not in a cliche way of “not like other girls”. I just tend to relate to men better. Probably because I’m close to my dad and probably because I work in a male dominated field. I tend to trust men more even with some bad life experiences sexual assault/rape). That’s why it’s difficult overall for me to understand women who aren’t for men’s rights and try to make villains out of all men. If you’re for women’s rights…

That’s an interesting perspective. I’m a woman and I specifically asked for a male therapist (I also have a male primary care doctor). In my experience I’ve been talked down to and experienced the mean girl phenomenon too many times to trust women. I’ve been with my male therapist for about a year and a half now and I feel heard and healthier. He also doesn’t waste my time just because an hour is scheduled. If I’m like “I only need 15 minutes I think” he just sees how it goes and sometimes it’s …

I saw this also and wanted to share! The good thing is I am seeing a positive trend in professional women noticing and giving a shit about men’s mental health. We’re here, I promise. I’m trying to introduce it in my corporate environment because we have an entire branch of our company that is 98% men. I’m seeing that the guys that work for me really try to hold it together when we’re in stressful situations because they grew up in the “be a man about it” era. I want to change the view so everyon…

That’s so weird, I’ve had the exact opposite experience. Even with great credit and annual income as an adult woman if I want to rent an apartment without a partner of some kind I’m seen as unstable. The world is fucking weird. I hate it.

OP, if you do go to HR tell them you feel targeted and feel that this was sexual harassment as this type of baseless accusation is 100% because you are a man. Ask them to speak with the property manager or janitorial company about how they leave the toilets in the evening once they’re done cleaning. Leaving the seat up after cleaning is standard operating procedure in commercial buildings. I’ve managed a shit load of them.

Hi. I manage and run commercial buildings for a living. 100% this is what the cleaners do when they clean every single evening. They leave the seat up once they’ve cleaned the toilets, this is standard operating procedure. This is fucking ridiculous and I’m livid for you. Also, I’m a woman so there is truly no justifying this accusation.

That’s great context. It’s good that you’re open to taking advice, you have no idea how much that alone will allow you to move on. But you’re worth having someone value you. If she’s playing a game of pushing you away and then suddenly realizes that she wants to be with you, proceed with caution. Tell her you want to take it slow. She might also do a weird love bombing game to reel you back in. Good luck!! You got this.

I’m sorry man, but you’re in denial here. She made an excuse not to see you and rejection sucks, but it’s probably because she’s not mature enough to tell you she’s no longer interested. Being cool with rejection (whether direct or indirect) is going to help you find someone who won’t waste your time.

Sorry man, this was an excuse. Move on. I can’t think of any one of my closest girlfriends that have been dumped that wanted or expected me to drop my plans to “be there for them”. You’re not going to want to hear this advice, but I promise you this worked for me on guys once I changed my mindset (when I started living for me and not for other people) and a couple of my guy friends that have the same issue: tell her you are ready to find a relationship so you want to stop your FWB deal. Figuring out what you want is the entire point of dating. If you go to any subs where it’s about dating, sex, love, marriage, etc. the primary problems people have are when dishonesty is presented in a relationship. Don’t let this negative reaction from either this sub or the women you’re dating retrain you into think that deception is better. It’s not. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not an open suggestion to be a dick. You still need to be tactful sometimes without being insulting. However, there are…

You’re welcome, just keep being honest. You’ll only become an asshole if you’re lying to these women about your intentions. It seems like you’re doing everything right and just living your life. Basically I’m a big believer in believe people when they tell you who they are. If they choose to think they can “change” or “fix” you that’s on them and a lesson that might be good for them to learn. It was good for me to learn.

The following is not great advice, but I’ll give it out anyway: Don’t change anything, dude. Not a lot of people have that kind of magnetic personality and it’s unlikely you can just turn it off. Try to appreciate that you’ll attract a lot of women but maybe that will bring you to the one you might want to settle down with at some point. If not, you at least have comfort in the fact you were being honest the entire time and they’ll come to appreciate this. Source: I’m a formerly clingy/needy wom…

The only months that aren’t an awareness month are August and December: https://www.aacr.org/patients-caregivers/awareness-months/ Testicular cancer is in April, prostate in September. While I agree with you that breast cancer gets a front seat a lot of the time, men get breast cancer too. I think it would be nice if there were more advocates speaking about breast cancer in men. I feel like those men get forgotten and lost in the shuffle of the tragic stories.

It’s very much like Gabriel Fernandez in my opinion. Watching that documentary was fucking awful. In the end they both should have gotten the death penalty, the man did, the mother got life without parole. Women are treated differently even in the most horrific of crimes and it’s a really weird example to set for young adults.

Really sorry you went through that, that is absolutely terrible. I hope that you can find some common ground or at least some peace in your relationship with your child. I know it got easier with one of my parents when I became an adult. Don’t give up (unless that’s what you want to do, then congrats on your freedom). I see a lot of responses that say “take it as a compliment”. This is one of the most cringe responses I’ve personally had when turning someone down. I hope you do not take that advice. You’re telling someone how to feel when they’ve sort of already told you how they feel. It’s not overtly condescending, but it’s still condescending. I think the most sound advice I see is the response of “no problem”. Personally reading through the comments this is someone who works retail at a place you frequent…

I’m a woman: please don’t do this. It is uncomfortable. All of that is cringey. The other people in here saying “no problem” are correct. I don’t even mind “no problem, let me know if you change your mind”. But then let her come back to you if she actually does change her mind.

I think clarifying using the word “women” vs. “you” definitely helps. The way you worded it seemed pretty specific, but I’m with you now! Also, just to further clarify, I’m writing this in a voice/tone of “oohhhh now I get it!”. Internet text context can get lost and I don’t want you thinking I’m being a passive aggressive dick.

And last, you might believe you don’t have any trouble with short guys, but the fact is that short guys are likely invisible to you. You don’t consider them dateable, just friends. I hear what you’re saying, but you’re literally calling me a liar considering my comment says I’ve dated men of all shapes and heights. I don’t believe I don’t have trouble with short guys, I know because I have dated men that are my height. I dated one gentleman that was an inch or two shorter than me. I’ve dated men…

This is so fucking depressing. The longer I’m in this sub, the more I don’t understand my own gender. I’m floored by these posts. I am 5’4 and height has never really factored into my dating decisions. So much so that I’m sitting here and thinking about the fact that I’ve dated guys that are quite literally all shapes and heights. I think my biggest preference is hygiene over all other things.

Holy. Shit. What an interesting behavioral observation! That seriously just blew my mind. “Taking credit” for someone else’s emotional growth. That’s a pretty shitty way to be. I do notice that typically women that express that their male partner’s feelings and emotions are burdensome are usually when the feelings and emotions express some sort of criticism to the woman. That sounds so lonely and I’m sorry that has been your experience, that sucks.

That suuuuucks that your experience has been like this. I promise you there are women out there that care just as much about male pleasure as their own. How my other girlfriends roll their eyes when they talk about how much “work” it is or how “annoying” it is… I truly don’t understand. It’s fun. Have fun. Don’t lay there and expect your partner to have a good time if you’re not contributing to the good time too.

I’m curious what you think of Idris Elba in the Marvel Universe. I also disliked him at first because of The Office but he kind of won me over through the years in his other roles. But what really won me over is him doing an episode of Hot Ones. If you’re ever on the fence about anyone famous, see if they did an interview on Hot Ones; it’ll either change your mind forever or you’ll find out you were right all along. To be honest I thought about this more after I commented. I’m not so sure they’d do this to John Wick. The whole reason he was “back” was to punish those who tarnished the beautiful memories of his wife. That right there has real heart. Then as you get further into the film there are actually some pretty bad ass female assassins and they don’t pull punches with those plot lines during the fight scenes. I’m gonna hold out hope. Ultimately though I think the world they built with this underground …

I think Idris Elba would have been a really cool and interesting take. And they kind of emasculated Daniel Craig as the movies went on. It went from him having his genitals battered to him wearing sweaters and sad sack face. I feel like the point of movies are the fantasy of a different world; a way to escape reality. What the franchise became really bummed me out so I’m glad that I was able to avoid this one.

They’re definitely not catering to women that go to a Bond movie expecting to see a Bond movie. They lost all my money for it (36F). I’m looking for some spy gadgets, classy quippy dialogue, maybe some fist fights, and some sharp suits. Stop trying to reboot (aka ruin) everything good about movies.

Welp, a big fuck this then. Thanks for the info. I’m a woman and I love action movies. The amount of eye rolling I do at modern action films because of the weird subplots and re-boots to include more women is insane. I’m an American woman (36) working in a male dominated industry. I worked my ass off for 10 years for the position I’m in now. I can tell you right now it’s just as frustrating from my perspective to see other women promoted before they should be. Only research that supports their cause matters which is so disheartening. I work in a male dominated industry and my entire team is comprised of men that are older than I am. If I understand their needs and struggles I feel they make the same effort to understand mine. It’s been a fantastic, fun, and respectful working relationship.

That already happened. I was removed from the rape subreddit for simply subscribing to this sub. Apparently I’m not allowed to be a survivor of rape and still want men to have rights? You figure survivors of rape would want to support men’s rights especially considering false accusations impact the belief of actual victims. I truly don’t understand that.

Me too. Pretty gross how the Aquaman 2 director responded to people calling for Amber Heard to be removed from the film. Reading your article now. I’m in tears from both this post and the website. OP, I hope that you feel you have a path to heal. I think that might be true of the current generation, but not older. But my mom (59) is a nurse and was in the Air Force as a nurse as well and she and my dad got together when they were 20. Not all women are like this (I’m a woman). This disgusts me to my core, especially as a woman in a male dominated industry. I worked really hard to earn the respect of my peers and this shit makes me so fucking angry. It’s like, work for your own living. Dre earned his money, go legitimately earn yours. I’m labeled a “feminist” because I believe in actual equality, not taking advantage of the system and someone who is more talented than you and marketed their skill.

This is really great advice. The most non-emotional/non-confrontational way to approach this is to write a letter to her expressing this. I would also include that you rejected sex is not a reflection of your love or care about her, but your own wants and needs. That you would hope that when you respect her choices and her body that you are in then given that same respect. The bottom line is she’s entitled and allowed to feel disappointment but she shouldn’t “punish” you for your honesty and you…

It doesn’t speak volumes if she actually had a family emergency. If I have a family emergency and I’ve already taken care of my obligation to cancel plans because of it I would hope the person I was going on a date with would understand that I’m not in a position to be available to respond. You don’t need to wait around on her, but if there’s really an emergency I’d be impressed that she has her priorities straight. That’s good shit for the future.

As an ACTUAL female survivor, this makes me physically ill. False accusers should be sentenced severely for this.

It’s crazy how much this sub is hated. I joined because I’m actually interested in men’s rights and their struggles so I can understand better as a woman that has an all male staff. I want to be sure that I earn respect by learning what others need. I’m a rape and sexual assault survivor and I was kicked out of a rape survivor subreddit because a bot automatically permanently banned me just for simply joining this sub. To be honest it really pissed me off. If the goal is equality and understandi…

I’m a woman, and this is the correct answer.

Agree with this one too (girl here as well). It’s 2020 and life isn’t a coming of age movie where chicks regularly fawn over any guy that gives them attention first.

I wish I would have read this comment before I made mine. As a girl, fuck yes, this.

Girl here. I’ve read some of the responses and some are decent, but most are yiiiiikes. I think you need to change your mindset here. First, just because you talk to a chick at a party doesn’t mean you’ve somehow marked her as yours, dude. That is exactly how your post reads and it’s low key cringey. It makes you come off needy or possessive even if that’s not actually the case. That being said, that also means that she didn’t mark you either. Take another lap and strike up another conversation.…
