Absolutely crazy. Both parents should be forced to get a job if they can't maintain their previous quality of life. So because Costner did well for himself, she gets to leech a huge amount of money off of him for the rest of his life, while never working at all even though she is able to? And potentially force him to go back to work and take additional shows and movies on, even if he just wants to retire.

Great post. I'd make the argument that a man with a solid job and great earnings should never get married, unless he finds a woman that brings as much to the table as him or close to it. Carrying and delivering a child is a huge amount of risk for women. Many women want to be stay at home moms (SAHM), but allowing that is such a huge amount of risk for a man, his assets, and his future earnings - especially in today's age where everything is so expensive and you often need two incomes to live co…
