19, never wanted a family. Watched my dad as a kid (who has a great marriage. I say that because my mom has nothing to do with effecting how I feel about having a family) work his ass off and have his money spent. All his time taking myself and siblings to games, scouts, band practice etc. Have nothing but respect for my dad but never want to do it. Haha. Ok so the RT has the 5.7 I believe. If I recall Dodge calls for 91 in that or better. So using lower octane gas won't screw it up necessarily. You could get what's called an engine knock (which sounds like a knock coming from the engine) because of the 87. The benefit of using higher octane gas in a vehicle like that is performance (faster acceleration) and better gas mileage. Check your owners manual and see what it recommends.
