Yes and no. When I was overweight and put no effort into being even slightly attractive I was always depressed and angry that that was all women I was interested in saw. Now that I’ve put in a lot of time and effort to get in shape and present myself better, it’s honestly flattering that someone recognizes that effort, and usually that’s a precursor to being recognized for other things. Why would I put effort into pursuing someone who doesn’t even put effort into themselves first?

Frankly, I agree with you on this matter. I don't think the government should be telling any company how much to charge someone and what they can or can't charge someone for.
