They don't take former porn actresses seriously because they supposedly have no right to speak because they "chose to do this". On the other hand, they won't take anyone who didn't work in the industry seriously when they're critical about porn because you CaN't TaLk AbOuT aN iNdUsTry YoU wErEn'T EvEn PaRt Of. It's a cheap excuse to shut anyone up who is critical of the porn industry, it's that simple

I second this because I got punched in the face after I stood up for myself when I was a teenager. It wasn't sexual harassment, but a random dude repeatedly blew sigaret smoke in my face after I told him to stop several times. This video, however, raises my serotonin levels.

Thank you for the recommendations 😊 A book that has helped me a lot is What Every Body is Saying, it's about how to read body language by Joe Navarro, an expert who used to do interrogations for the fbi. It goes much further than the usual internet search about body language and is very useful for everyday life. Most importantly for this sub, it allows us to better judge someone's sincerity. The sad reality is that this is taught in films such as Star Wars. Look at how creepy Han Solo was by forcing himself onto Princess Leia. Despite that, it doesn't justify such behavior from men, it merely explains it EDIT: fixed a minor spelling mistake
