I personally like those terms for what they are. I've always laughed at the "bro-[blank]" when done phonetically (bromance, broner, etc.), but more importantly I've always had bromances in my life and am perfectly comfortable with referring to them as such. That's exactly the realization I had that got me from BB to AF. I can seriously still remember the moment when I noticed the night-day shift, just by saying what I actually think. Once I realized that, I just said whatever I was thinking honestly and I noticed a dramatic increase in women jumping all over me. That easy.

I'm glad you said that. I'm new to TRP and was a little confused as to the Alpha-Beta connotation. More often than not I got the sense that Beta in itself is just bad news, when in reality what you said is the case. There's nothing inherently "wrong" with Beta, there's just a time and place for it.

I think this is the perfect example of tough love and how it should be executed. TRP community is better about it than most, but it's seriously so difficult to get people to give actual, real, HONEST feedback about stuff. The only way you can get over the shit you're struggling with is if you know about it. And if someone else can see it, I think it's their public duty to give that info if asked. Thank you for this.

This kind of thing frustrates me. It's the type thing that has added a permanent element of anxiety to my brain whenever getting intimate with a woman. "Does she really want this? What if she doesn't, would she tell me?" Had to get that one off my chest.

Same here, I always pay in those situations. Or even if it's a buddy I haven't seen for a long time that lives nearby. I just think it's a polite thing to do, and I don't mind doing it at all.

Even though she's in a shitty spot...that still bugs me. I can understand that to a degree, but playing on her gender/cultural gender roles advantage simply to get free food (which is most likely quite a bit better than the dollar menu) is something that really gets to me. This kind of stuff infuriates me. If you want there to be more women in the cabinet, then make yourself (the female) the best possible choice for the position. Don't just try to get women in the cabinet just because they're women. It turns out that these people have a role in how this country is run, so not having the most qualified candidates is going to be detrimental overall. If you don't like the ratio of males to females, then be the best fucking candidate you can be and change it.
