I'm pretty staunch advocate for men's rights but I also support what /u/unconfidence is saying. Just as much as we don't like to be painted with a broad brush, we shouldn't paint others with a broad brush. We should refrain from condemning others with actions done by other members of their group. As such, we shouldn't paint all feminists as hypocrites because some feminists are hypocrites. Unless, of course, they are the type to generalize all based on the actions of the few. In which case, have…

rape isn't just nonconsensual sex though. It also includes nonconcensual penetration. As the FBI defines it: Penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim.

The closing remark ‘gender equality is for everyone’ echoes misogynistic rhetoric that men’s issues have been drowned out by the focus on women’s rights. "The idea that mens rights are drowned out by womens voices is WRONG. Therefore, you need to CANCEL this awareness campaign for mens rights cuz its misogynistic!!" You can't make this shit up.

In dating, everybody is allowed to have preferences. You just have to be honest about them and not string inappropriate partners along. I...actually kind of agree with this. I'm currently in a relationship, and my partner and I switch off paying each time. We don't really keep tally or anything in regards to "who has paid how much when", but it tends to even out in the long run. It's a model that I particularly enjoy. If someone is aware of the options available to them, and yet still chooses to…

It's much more about perception of gender and gender roles themselves. I feel this is the most important part to take away from it. Both men and women can gain insight from it. Living as one is hard to give a good impression about what the other goes through until you are actually in their shoes.

I don't think she necessarily found that women were more "privileged" than men Ill admit i havent read the entire book, but what i got out of the article she had written about it was that men and women face their own individual problems and each has their own benefits. Neither is necessarily "better" than the other, but just plain different.

Ultimately they ended up scrapping the project all together, despite claims from the proponents that it would be used as a resource center for men. The university of…

The idea that "youre a man, you must've wanted it" is so disgusting. And all the comments people make when there is a woman teacher that rapes a high school boy that say: "where was she when i was in high school? lololololol" dont help either. Unfortunately there isn't much prudent advice I can give, as I am not particularly knowledgeable regarding laws. But I can offer my sympathy and hope things will get better. There is a difference between sexuality and auto-eroticism. Sexuality is something that is done with another person, while auto-eroticism (I.E, masturbation) is done to oneself. Young children don't practice sexualization of their peers at a young age unless they learned it. Through, most commonly, sexual abuse. While both terms can be considered "sexual", one implies that it is done to oneself, while the other implies it is done to a peer. Sexualizing a young child, be it a boy or girl, is tota…

if you PM /r/reddit.com it will send messages to the reddit admins. If you thoroughly describe the situation at hand, they might ban the user that made the blog post in question for doxxing. Doxxing seems to be a gray area in regards to real world legality. Its not a crime to post someones information, but it is a crime to use that information for harassment.

I was never entitled to a woman's body. Nor do I believe that anyone is ever obligated to sleep with someone for any reason. However, I WAS told REPEATEDLY that I was less of a man because I wasn't rolling in women. I lost my virginity at 22. But at no point did I ever feel scornful towards women because of it.

If he learned not to base his self worth off how women perceive him, it would have been an entirely different story. The fact is, his entire mindset was based off of how he felt women saw him as worthless. Your self worth shouldn't be based on how many women you've slept with, how big your dick is, or how hot your girlfriend is. Had he known this, things would have been different.

cherry picking? thats pretty much the ENTIRE conversation.

That'd go over REAL well.

Protip: There are many versions of FGM. Some just include pricking the vagina with a needle. Not all versions require removal of anything.

And non-religious circumcision was started to reduce boys want/need to masturbate.

I do agree that they are a bad group. But they have a right to their opinion just as much as you or I. I, personally, think they are a sad bunch of individuals and I dislike dealing with them. Most MRAs agree with me and try and show that TRP and the MRM are not the same thing
/r/MensRights27/04/14 03:43 PM
1

Well, the reason you see those posts is because the /mr mods dont do SRS style moderation. You're free to debate your point here, but they won't ban you unless you're blatantly trolling or intentionally trying to start shit. Its like that saying, all trpers are MRAs, but not all MRAs are trpers.
/r/MensRights27/04/14 07:30 AM

Radfemhub actually had several teachers that advocated for genocide of small boys. Additionally, I don't have only seen nothing but downvotes for people spewing redpill stuff on /mr. Likewise obviously for manhood101 nonsense
/r/MensRights27/04/14 05:15 AM

I meant radfemhub.com. Apologies. Distancing yourself from someone is vastly different than the movement distancing itself.
/r/MensRights27/04/14 04:29 AM
2

So you don't think SCUM or radfem hub or terfs are worthy of distancing?
/r/MensRights27/04/14 03:50 AM

It still shows they don't condone the attackers actions. They are distancing themselves from their actions. Something feminists don't do nearly often enough. I never said you weren't being cordial. But still, surely you understand my point.
/r/MensRights27/04/14 02:02 AM

Please, show me all those videos of MRAs protesting feminist ralleys and pulling fire alarms
/r/MensRights27/04/14 01:59 AM

You mean the one where AVfM has actively donated reward to find the attacker because they don't condone their actions? And have also put pressure on their feminist opposer's to meet the same reward? The same AVfM you are so quick to dismiss? The actions of 1 person don't reflect the idea of a movement, just as much as you don't reflect the entirety of feminism.

You can say that for any public figure that offends someone. Providing her school, which is also public info BTW, would allow for an outlet for someone to tell them what she is doing. Don't tell me that if a male sex end teacher were to tell a girl to not get raped, you or your brd friends wouldn't try and tell the administration what he was doing
/r/MensRights27/04/14 12:32 AM

Nothing was stopping her? Did you SEE the video? Doing the lecture on the lawn would only allow her to be surrounded and be shouted down the second she tries to start to say anything

She is a public servant. Teaching at a school. Her name is already public information. This is hardly doxxing. Now if someone were to print her address or personal phone number, that'd be different. But that's not what is being asked for.

Perhaps MRAs would get more stuff done if feminists didn't protest every thing they do ;) Or pull fire alarms to silence their opinions
/r/MensRights26/04/14 08:57 PM

I think they mean rape in the 1st degree, rape in the 2nd degree, etc. The way there is murder in the 1st degree. I think statutory rape would apply to a certain degree of rape. Most likely 1st, maybe 2nd

Suicide is definitely not cowardly. ehhh....thats debatable. Sometimes there are people that genuinely feel they have no way out and little recourse. Others may believe their situation is worse than it is. Don't get me wrong, I fully feel this is a case for the former, but there are situations where its a little...selfish? i guess is the right word
/r/MensRights25/04/14 12:24 PM

which makes sense. Though, calling this an act of aggression even though she hit him first doesn't seem exactly...correct.
/r/MensRights25/04/14 12:19 PM

I actually agree with you. Self-defense is okay, but only an amount that is reasonable to stop the person attacking you.
/r/MensRights25/04/14 11:58 AM

Don't feminists themselves spout the idea of: "Do you think equality is a good thing? Then you're a feminist"?
/r/MensRights23/04/14 02:53 AM

Jesus. All Isabel wrote about is "What can you do for meeeeeeeeeee?" A relationship is about giving, not taking. Thats all she did before, and if that is all she is gonna do now, then I hope she stays single and bitter the rest of her life.

Yeah, robotanna and other SRSers are mods of that sub. Good luck getting them to even acknowledge misandry exists.

Experiment time! Take your finger, and run it along the length of the back of your hand. Now, do the same thing along the length of your palm. Notice how the second one has a lot deeper, finer sensation to it? Now imagine that, but on your penis.

I think its funny that they have to resort to such blatant false flags to attempt to discredit the MRM. I have never seen anything remotely similar happen in regards to feminism.
