To be honest, I don't even care about a women's only workout area off to the side, because I get that there are douchebags at the gym. Shutting down the whole place so they can have the whole thing to themselves is ludacrist. My issue is that when a business opens up that caters exclusively to men it's publicly shamed as sexist, but when one opens up exclusively for women it's a safe space and a great thing for the community. Are guys not allowed to have their own safe spaces?

This carries over to adult life as well, not just children's clubs / activities. Women's only spaces are widely accepted and never questioned. If a Men's only space comes up it's looked at with suspicion and shamed in the media until they are run out of business or until women are allowed in and accommodations are made so that they feel welcome. Equal is Equal and fair is fair. I'm fine with women having their spaces. We just want ours as well.

"Mary is very Flirtatious with John and is making suggestive comments to him such that he think she is interested in an intimate relationship that evening" and "She has not indicated she wishes to engage in the act" are contradictory statements. This is why "yes means yes" and VAWA are such bullshit. Women aren't responsible for their own behavior, and men pay the price.

men who have been screwed over in more ways than one over the course of their lives have every right to be angry, and that with the exception of the MRA/MGTOW permavirgins, men get over their anger eventually and move on. If it wasn't for that half of the first paragraph, he might be taken seriously and not be immediately considered a douchebag.

The hypocrisy of Modern Feminism at it finest. Let the people with brains and the ability to think for themselves read those "definitions" and come to the conclusion that the rest of us have. Modern Feminism is a hate group

the info i saw said that she willingly drank heavily, and willingly responded to sexual advances made by the two boys. thus my statements. The info I saw may have been wrong. I didn't do a lot of reading on the case between the time the trial started and the judgement. Sex with a completely unconscious girl is rape everytime.> ^^ Agreed

Technically it is via Americans w/ Disabilities Act. Copied from ada.gov Q. Who is a "qualified individual with a disability?" A. A qualified individual with a disability is a person who meets legitimate skill, experience, education, or other requirements of an employment position that s/he holds or seeks, and who can perform the oeessential functionsî of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Requiring the ability to perform "essential" functions assures that an individual with …

They didn't really. Washington State is an "At-Will Employment State" meaning that any employer can fire you for any reason at any time, and as long as they don't put it in writing that it's because you are "sex/race/creed/color/nationality/sexual orientation/religion" there isn't much you can do. I got fired from a prominent e-retailer because I put for a special assignment / promotion that required relocation and I am obese and they didn't want to pay the extra fee to the airline. That's not w…

If a person has sex with someone else and then changes their mind about it later. It is NOT rape. It is regret and remorse. If a guy has sex with a girl and later decides he doesn't like the decision he's made, it's not rape. If a girl has sex with a guy and later decides it was bad sex, or he's unattractive, or doesn't like the reputation she earned by having sex with him, or for some other reason changes her mind... it's suddenly rape and the guy has to be punished?? It's a double standard and…

There was no "brutalizing". That is (by far) too strong of a word, and it certainly wasn't (entirely) intentional. To be specific without getting specific. Parents divorced, Dad got diagnosed with Cancer, Dad moved away for treatment (w/ new gf), started high school, dad moved home, dad remarried, dad died. All in the span of about 18ish months. And a few months ago, my dog that I rescued as a puppy from a Trailer park in the middle of January passed away. So like I said, there was no brutalizin…

Whiskey is the best friend of all. Putting on a serious face... I was made fun of A LOT growing up because I never learned how to "man-up" when it came to disappointing times. Nothing to make a "Lifetime Movie of the Week" out of, but it was a big deal to me. Due to 5 of the top "things that stress kids out" all happening in the span of a 18ish months, I hardened up to a lot very quickly. But As life does, It very recently smacked me in the face and told me I am still who I always was. Not sure …

First and foremost, I'm sorry for what you went through. I cannot relate to that situation in any way shape or form, but wish you a quick path through recovery. That being said, please seek professional psychological treatment ASAP. It sounds as through you need some truly safe space to work through this. Don't let anyone tell you to "get over it" or "be a man" about it. I'm sure that shit has changed you. And nobody will ever really know how. God speed bro.

I''m with ya buddy. I don't want kids either, to the point that I won't even date a woman with kids. I agree with you that it's bullshit that men are swindled out of exorbitant amounts of money in order to prevent the passing of their DNA, yet Birth Control pills for women are handed out like candy on halloween.

You guys may not like this statement but I'm going to say it anyway, Why can't we just shoot people like the judge and mother in this scenario. I mean seriously, come the fuck on, I bet the judge would be up this guys ass with the book in triplicate in 2 seconds flat if he missed one child support or alimony payment. This is the reason I refuse not only to have kids but even get married. Hell, The minute I can afford it I'm getting a vasectomy to prevent this kind of BS.

Actually I learned it from the best teacher... but 95% of the people on campus including 99% of the faculty hated her. But that was because she didn't put up with the bureaucratic bullshit and the whiny kids with a massive sense of entitlement who refused to the work.
