I use crutches (spinal cord injury) and can’t do stairs so it’s not quite the same but I often find that guys will tell me about the accessibility of their house or apartment early on. It can be a good sign (they’re contentious and thinking ahead in case it’s a deal-breaker for you) or a bad sign (they’re presumptuous). I’d say see how the date goes before ruling him out. Good luck!

So from the point of view of someone who has been a sugar baby for less than a month: it is WAY, WAY more time and effort than you think it will be. We settled on £1000/month for meeting once a week. Dinner at a restaurant each meeting, no penetrative sex, seemed easy enough. But somehow the demands on my time and attention kept growing. I was working full-time and juggling that with his texts and even things like him buying me an outfit for our first date took up so much time that I quit after …

I have two close male friends and more male friends that I’m less close with. But those friendships are based around shared interests (I genuinely like playing video games, and both of my close male friends are also gamers so we have something to talk about that I don’t get a chance to talk about with many of my female friends). Those quotes about love and not settling were reprinted from a Vanity Fair interview from 2018, talking about the man she married and is now separated from after less than a year of marriage: https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2018/07/michelle-williams-marriage-wedding-equal-pay I don’t think the advice is any less true, but it does show that even when you think you’ve found “the one” it’s not always right.

It’s definitely easier for me to get casual sex than disabled men, no argument there. Just like most women, I can get laid in an hour on Tinder if that’s what I want. It’s definitely the dating/relationship part of things that’s harder for women - finding a guy who a) wants a relationship and b) doesn’t view my disability as a liability is HARD.

I also have a latex allergy and I bought 50 Skyn condoms really cheaply on Amazon (UK) just in case. I agree that most guys like them better anyway.

I’m a visibly disabled woman and I absolutely feel that it’s easier to date as a disabled man than a disabled woman.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
