I can accept your take. Adding to your point, sometimes the dads can be feminists too. I know that’s the unfortunate case with me, so his best quality unfortunately will always be financial support. Everyone defaults to hating men and only smart people go into the Set Up menu to change it.

I think a large cause for any gendered person to demote men in their mind and in communication is caused by the lack of a father figure. The only prominent males in a fatherless child’s life are classmates. Without the presence of a male parent or a male teacher, the kids will never learn an instance where they need to be respectful toward a male.

My family got me hooked on the DVD format at a young age and he seemed to be behind the best DVDs. I’m autistic, and DVDs, especially Buena Vista ones, are hard-to-explain mental health boosters for me. In addition to Pixar having reference-quality DVDs, I also really like how Lasseter brought Studio Ghibli over to America. Oh, you’re into “male protagonist vs. female antagonist”? I am too. Can’t think of any video games off the top of my head like that, but I do know three animated films that fit the bill: The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, Madagascar 3, and Garfield 2024. I’d only really recommend the first one I listed. The other two may be too comedic, so cherishing them for men’s rights is a very much of an afterthought.

Thanks for giving me insight on another possible reason why modern-minded co-workers are scared of me and as a result flee off to Human Resources. Exactly why I mentioned them. The movies lack misandry but Hayao Miyazaki doesn’t treat the workers at Studio Ghibli fairly, as seen in a Nausicaä DVD bonus feature, localized by Disney nonetheless.

The world has always been misandrist in my opinion, extending to all generations of film and TV. The thing is, older content had stuff better than agendas behind it. It had stuff to make up for the misandry. If you think misandry is still inexcusable, I recommend religious studios like Big Idea or pre-2010 Pixar. They give the most enjoyment with the least misandry. Studio Ghibli films could be bunched in like this too if you don’t mind female leads and can ignore Hayao Miyazaki’s IRL feminism.

The episode of Handy Manny called "Pat the Screwdriver." It sounds far-fetched, but it is the best representation I have seen so far. More like the only representation; it's hard to find literature that surfaces men's issues and mental health, so even if it is a children's show, we can greatly appreciate it. The episode starts out with the tools fixing a mixer. Pat (the hammer) watches Felipe and Turner (the two screwdrivers) help Manny fix the mixer, and Pat wishes he could be useful like them.…
