I disagree. When I'm in my head, I don't pay attention and I think too much, "oh shit what do I say now?". When I'm not in my head, I just react viscerally to whatever they say. Whenever they say a " keyword" in conversation, I say my first thought. Sometimes it's something stupid, but it rarely fails to move the conversation forward.

Yeah totally fair. I have had a few instances of girls that I wasn't banking on since I knew I wasn't gonna see again so I tried the what's up. Worked well for like half of them, and after the first conversation there's tons of opportunities to bring up a common interest or do the what's up again because they know you're capable of a conversation. Fuck the other half though.

I wouldn't agree completely. I always find that I ask a shit question first, then they answer, then I target key words in whatever they answer ("I'm going out" "oh hittin the strip club already?" Idk that was stupid) and then it starts a conversation. I would agree that it's not great to always use this though.

Just my opinion Dude, I feel like people don't say that enough when talking about entire cultures, even if not in a stereotyping, profiling, or racist way. You can't say "Oh I love the cops in the Netherlands" because of one experience you had. My bad, that's just always annoyed me.

Talking too much sounds desperate. While this is spot on, storytelling is also a huge social thing. When there's an awkward pause in the conversation and you have something interesting to bring up, it makes you stand out a lot. Can't be that guy that always has something to say about himself but definitely that guy who has some good stories.

Ok, here's the thing. I'm great at polarizing with guys and in a non-flirty way with girls. A lot of people think I'm funny for that reason.
